SportingNonsense I appricate your feedback, actually I wish there were more guys like you from different countries like Ireland, Scotland, France ect. to give me feedback on the squads, to tell me which players need rating updates or abbility updates.

I think I will release my next update in February somtime when the 6 Nations and Super14 squads are released

Here are some things i have noticed with the roster editing which might explain some things..

I find that sometimes a player will have a different value in the editor than the game. Not sure why. I can give David Lemi 81 for example, but in the game he can be 79 or 84. I notice that the value is calculated by the editor as you add or subtract stats values, so what it saves as in the editor is not always what appears in the game. If i can find the differential then we can allow for it. It's not on every player though, though sometimes i know i have given a value and it is different in the game.

Also, i use full names now. You can fit in about 90% of player names as long as they are using 13 letters and 1 space. I think it's much better. I haven't looked at your roster ross as i am doing my own, but also i notice that my team chemistry is much improved as now i assign 3 positions to all players.

Thanks Gary I will also give all the players in my roster 3 positions in my next release and also see if I can do the full names thing aswell,what I did was to only give players who's got the same surname and who's first name start with the same letter like Deinol Jones (Cardiff) and Dafydd Jones (Llanelli) full names to try and avoid confusion...lol.

But yeah I'll see if I can do the other players like this aswell

Okay I'm busy updating the Aussie squads for the 2009 Super 14, got their squads for their websites so hopefully its correct lol, will be nice to see Rathbone back in action for the Brumbies again.

Just don't know when SA are gona release their squads for the Super 14...

do you know about that guy joining the waratahs who is lote tuqiri's cousin and is meant to be the next lomu, I think his name is Ratu Nasiganiyavi or something like that. if you put him in your waratahs squad that would be good.

I haven't finalized the starting teams yet, think I'll wait untill the first round of Super14 games to see who gets picked in the team 22 and update the line-ups accordingly and maybe do the same with the 6 Nations teams....

BTW Vickerman isn't in the Waratahs squad from what I can see..

Okay all the Aussie Super14 squads are now updated, now just waiting for the SA teams to release their Super 14 squads hopefully next week...untill then I'm editing most of the players to have full names, players with long surnames such as Norton-Knight will stay like this S Norton-Knight.

I did try to hex edit a player with a long surname such as Norton-Knight but when I make it Sam Norton-Knight the game crashes...

Here's how it works..

You can have any 14 characters. So you can have.. (with a space) Please note if you add a fullstop, in the actual match the letters after the surname will appear. I will explain below.

Types of names (add a space or fullstop between first name and surname) maximum characters only. Any name with less than 13 characters is of course perfectly fine.

2 + 11 like Al Skiverinton
3 + 10 like Sam Barrington
4 + 9 like Andy Henderson
5 + 8 like Scott Anderson
6 + 7 like Mosese Rauluni

You can't have 6 + 8, as that is 14 characters. Now, if you want full names, just type them like 'Michael Smith', but if you make it like 'Michael.Smith' in the match, only the surname will appear.

Haven't you heard about the "set as default" button on Woosaah's Rugasmic 08 Editor yet...? :unsure:

Erm, yes.. but the last i heard i think the problem was to do with the last edition of woosaah's editor? I have the version with 10 boots and no face images.. but when i try 'set as default', it never works.

Tell me.. where do you put the rdf.. it is in the roster folder, the directory or both?

I tried your rdf and it works fine.. but if i add my rdf that i appears in the woosaah editor folder, World League crashes if i select a team. Where did you get your working version of the editor?

I am not sure what to do to get it to work.
