Round 14

I truly believe the biggest issue at the Sharks is coaching. And locks though I do like Roets. But the Sharks never start Roets so I am back at coaching. I am actually glad we have Dobson when I look at the Sharks. Can't believe I am saying that but there it is.

Sharks now learning what all Stormers fans know; that Kolisi in blue and white hoops or black is not the same as Kolisi in green.

So much good work from the Stormers but letting ourselves down time and time again for that 4th try.

EDIT: Just as I type that we score a try off of the turn over LOL
Another edit: and now everything we throw seems to stick. Beautiful.

Wonder what side Ulster will be sending to SA. I am really looking forward to our round 14 clash.

The only thing which I am miffed over is the shoddy pitch at Cape Town stadium. We have a really good scrum but the pitch is bringing an additional variable into what is in this competition even more of a lottery than usual.

Is our scrum all that good? I thought we were in an odd position of great backline and average scrum after the domestic derbies.

I do think our scrum is good IF we get Moerat, Kitshoff and Malherbe back. And I wouldn't judge just based off of the SA derbies as all SA URC teams have good scrums.

Ulster have named the travelling party and it's pretty much as strong as can be named.

It'll be good to see if the good run of SA teams at home can continue in the face of sterner opposition. Ulster also a good yard stick for the Stormers who might've been flattering to deceive of late.

Well, someone on the social media team is losing their job!

I think controversy is good for the growth of the game

Ulster Team

Mike Lowry, Craig Gilroy, Stewart Moore, Stuart McCloskey, Rob Lyttle, Billy Burns, John Cooney; Eric O'Sullivan, Rob Herring, Marty Moore, Alan O'Connor (Capt.), Kieran Treadwell, Greg Jones, Marcus Rea, Duane Vermeulen.

Replacements: Tom Stewart, Callum Reid, Gareth Milasinovich, Mick Kearney, Jordi Murphy, David Shanahan, Luke Marshall, Ethan McIlroy.

Honestly I'm a little underwhelmed. No Henderson, Timoney or Hume in the squad who are on the touring party. Our third choice 6 is starting and McIlroy should be starting ahead of Gilroy.

Would love us to have gone full strength for this one.
