Rooney and his agent have played a very smart game. He gets a pay rise and shows he and the club have ambition to become the best once again. The Glazer's will have to open the chequebook now and build a team around Rooney, Vidic, Hernandez and Nani. He'll get a lukewarm reception from fans initially but it's nothing a couple of goals and kissing the badge won't fix.
