I'd give the game 78.
Hell, it took them a 5 years to get fifa up to it's equivalent level, so it's not that bad a score!

Ok I gave the game 80-84%, and I did want to give it more, but I need to be realistic.
Firstly I believe it deserves an 80+ rating, becuase it is rugby, it is soo much better than 2004 and well its rugby.
If you think back to the 1st Fifa game and where we are now, everyonbe will agree that exciting times will be ahead.
For me the biggest dissapointment is that EA didnt get all the rules sorted...
There are no:
* Late tackles
* Shoulder charges
* Lyning on wrong side
* Entering ruck/maul from wrong side
* Tackling the player in the air
* etc
However there are:
* Huge tackles
* Smooth gameplay
* play calling on the fly
* Great graphics
* Good commentary
* Loads of teams
* Loadds of players
* Plenty of tournaments
* A Hrda setting which is hard
* You can now actually kick for goal and know what you are doing and what direction the ball will travel in
* Plenty of stadiums
* You can watch the HAKA
* Listen to the last bit of your national anthem
* Man this is a great game!!

yeah have u guys noticed the tackling in the air animation is there yet no penalties are awarded for this offence. Quite strange...

Interesting you should mention that, because I was looking through the files which have all the in-game text in, and I found:
"Entering from the side. Penalty to"
and
"Not releasing in the tackle. Penalty to"
So maybe they were thinking about it....
Also, that thick-sounding commentator (I forget his name, something Dexter or whatever, who cares) said after I had tried to nick the ball illegally
"I thunk thet the penalty wus for not releasung un the tickle"
That is my attempt at recreating the NZ accent in written form.

without a doubt we need fully manuals rucks and offloads before they decide to put more set-plays, more stadia and greater create-a-player options

there's just not enough mauls in any rugby game since JLR
