Reds (40) v Bulls (8)

That was the worst i have ever seen them play tbh. But, typical Bulls rugby.

- Useless Kicking
- Extremely scared flyhalf
- Useless centres (JP Nel should just go. Just leave man, you are revolting)
- Right on the try line its crash ball crash ball crash ball. . . . Screw the fact that Habana is there if we pass, the forwards are strong enough to barge through a whole team arent they? Idiots.

Well done to the Reds!!! You showed that rugby is a game of self belief, and not names on paper. The Reds played with everything they had. So good on you!

For the bulls, i hope this teaches them a valuable lesson, send JP Nel away. AAAAAAWWWWWWWAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!

By the way, STORMERS FTW!

Holmes is certainly the best prop in the country thus far and should be guaranteed a loosehead spot.

Horwill is doing alright, but Sharpe and Chisholm are better.

Cordingley is also playing OK, but so is Phibbs, and Holmes is yet to ignite. He's shown glimpses but hasn't really shown his full potential. Can't really pick this spot until later on.

Latham will surely play fullback, but then will be gone after the Tri Nations. So then it'll probably be between Shepherd and Gerrard.

Moore has not played well at all and in my opinion Faingaa and Freier have been much better. However, I'd expect Moore to make the 30 man squad considering he's the incumbent test hooker and there hasn't been too many hookers shining.

Based on current form - those are the only Reds players who have any chance of possibly putting on a gold jersey this year.

They'll probably has as many players as the Tahs in the test team, but I still believe it's going to be a Brumbies/Force dominated side. The Brumbies have had a couple of woeful weeks, but they've got the Cheetahs this week (with Shepherdson and Campbell back), then the bye, and then Mortlock, Ashley-Cooper and I believe Fairbanks all return. With Mortlock leading the backline it should greatly improve their play.

I don't need to say too much more about the Force. They're playing better than a lot of people expected. Giteau is creating so many opportunities in what is a fairly talented backline and its leading to a number of tries.
What are you, some kind of idiot? Mate you are dead set joking yourself if you don't think there's a place for Berrick Barnes in the Wallaby 22. This kid will blow a rocket up your arse. It's likely he will be playing out of the no. 12 jersey for the rest of the season so watch him fire.

Cordingley just out played the best halfback in the world and is probably one of the form halfbacks of the competition. I'd be very surprised if he's not selected in the starting side the way things are going.

The Reds have the best front row in the country so I wouldn't be surprised to see a few more names like Edwards, Blake, Moore and Hardman thrown around the Wallaby squad. McMeniman will be there if he comes good.

1. Holmes

6. McMeniman

9. Cordingley

11. Ioane
12. Barnes

15. Latham

Oh dear...

Blake has been useless... and Moore and Hardman have been fairly average... yes, they have the best scrum in the country (as I've said several times before) but these guys have been pretty damn woeful across the park... Edwards has been an improvement but has yet to make a big impact....

Ioane has yet to do anything this year...

and McMeniman is once again injured for the season... plus, despite the fact that he occasionally goes missing for the Wallabies - Elsom has probably been not only the Tahs most consistent player, but the best blindside in Australia thus far...

Yes, Cordingley has been good, but so has Phibbs... and we have to wait and see how Holmes goes - he was a far better scrumhalf for Australia A than Cordingley...

As for Berrick Barnes - I think it's rather idiotic of you to label me an idiot and then say Berrick Barnes is going to be the next Wallaby inside centre... based on what?!

Anyways, I accidentally left him out of my previous rant but as I mentioned elsewhere on here I'd expect him to be on the bench as Giteau would need a flyhalf cover if both aren't in the starting team...

I think he's an excellent flyhalf, but there's no doubt in ANYBODYS mind that Matt Giteau is currently the best flyhalf in the country, and unless Deans wants to revert to having two playmakers (Barnes-Giteau combination) then Giteau is a certainty to play flyhalf for the Wallabies.

I know you're excited about the Reds smashing one of the bottom teams on the ladder but I don't see how the Wallabies could mostly be made up of Reds unless we want to get our ass kicked by Scotland...

Those are my predictions and are based on little more than my own imagination. Everyone knows my imagination is fact.

And Wales, who also didn't make the 1/4's...

I cracks me up when someone says that a team is better based on a single match. By this guys logic, Wales beat France, France beat NZ,... therefor Wales is better than NZ.

Nuh uh.

Next time I write a sarcastic post, I'll put some *WARNING, NOT SERIOUS f***ING BUSINESS* on each side. For obviously, saying that Scotland are one of the most dominant teams in the world, complete with not only a dr. macky "mmmmkay" but a masturbating banana is not enough to illustrate to some challenged people that hey...I might not be serious.

Don't worry Macca, I got your drift ;)

<div class='quotemain'> <div class='quotemain'> No suprise really after seeing how the Bulls have been in South Africa.
That was just inappropriate.
It's not inappropriate it's the truth. It's not that the Bulls lost it's in the way they did it! Take nothing away from the Reds they deserved to win but the Bulls should feel ashamed. How do you go from 92-3 win to a 40-8 loss? I would hang my head in shame if I was a Bulls player. I say again with the greatest respect that the Reds truly deserved the win but they are a team of nobodies bar Latham and the Bulls should have beat them by 50.

Something is truly a miss in Bulls rugby at the moment, management is not looking after players and good coaches and how is it that they appointed Frans Ludeke and Pieter Rossouw? Ludeke's record speak for itself, he coached the Cats for 24 super rugby matches and only won 3! How can you appoint someone like that?

Fourie du Preez is a great player but not a good captain, I think Wickus van Heerden would be a better choice. The players need to also have a good look at themselves and realise that they are capable of much better and that's what we as Bulls supporters demand and expect from them!

I agree Wickus for captain. As for the other players they are suppose to be professionals at this and at the momnet are loooking more like amateurs. I an only hope and pray thet they pull themselves together quickly.
