Talk about your 121 point turn arounds. Don't feel too bad bokkies, Queensland is the greatest rugby province in the world.

Now onto the Republic, muhahaha!

No f***ing way.

Another shocking tipping round for me. Chiefs, Blues and Bulls all lost.

<div class='quotemain'> No suprise really after seeing how the Bulls have been in South Africa. [/b]
That was just inappropriate. [/b][/quote]

Ok ok...well this was a big shocker! The Reds were expected to give up the ghost early in Brisbane to the S14 champions but instead they miraculously played the game of their lives! The Bulls paid for their complacency by being ambushed by a team who on paper were expected to perhaps concede a record defeat for the state.

How so? The Bulls have been terrible this year, sorry to rain on your parade but I don't think this means the Reds are finals contenders....

The Bulls have been crap so far so i can only imagine how bad they were against the Reds. The win against the Stormers i thought they played well but since about half an hour into the Crusaders match they have been poor.

Kudos to the Reds though that must have been a superb performance, incredible turnaroud from the Bulls winning 92-3 last year.

So far, the Reds remind me of the hurricanes of the olden days. One week terrible and the next, electrifying.

Indeed, it actually looked like they had venom in thier backline! :D

This game really reflects how badly I did in tipping this week...

Chiefs, Brumbies, Blues and Bulls all lost...

Stupid Bulls. Can't believe I actually tipped them.

Looks like everyone had bad tipping week. I was banging the bar table shouting 'Damnit!' for like 30 secs when the Sharks let that +13 lead slip in the dying minutes

How will the Reds take charge of the Australian team?

There's maybe only three players that would be in contention for a starting spot.

I would have thought Moore, Holmes, Cordingley, Latham and possibly even Horwill would at least be in contention.

Cordingley wouldn't be in the team as we brought in Deans to bring our team up to scratch, we need a young bloke in there...Moore and Holmes, I dunno, I suppose, I'm not as excited as QLDers seem to be about them but would be interesting to see how they do. Latham, all though he is a good player we need to look at the future, he will play one season and leave, what's the point? As for Horwill, he seems like a giant douche every time I have seen him play...I could see him getting into a lot of trouble if playing international rugby (see his mountaineering attempt?)

Young bloke like who instead of Cordingley? While Holmes, Genia and Burgess have potential, they haven't really shone yet and I'd be worried about them at international level at the moment. Sheehan, Phibbs and Valentine aren't exactly young are they? Stannard had a bit of a shocker against the Blues and Chris O'Young has been quite good but we haven't seen enough of him yet. Latham's still the best fullback in the country and while we've got him we should use him. Probably got a bit of a point about Horwill though. Lol.

There is still a long way to go in this Super 14 campaign, it's too early to speak but I think Deans will be skillful enough of a coach to realise he needs to overhaul the Wallabies, even if this season is a write off in the end we are working towards the future, eg. WC 2011. It's not as furfilling if we beat a AB's team stripped of many of thier experienced players or a Bok team who have lost players and will struggle if we play under the ELV's....but to win in WC 2011 against the best of the best....yes please!

Holmes is certainly the best prop in the country thus far and should be guaranteed a loosehead spot.

Horwill is doing alright, but Sharpe and Chisholm are better.

Cordingley is also playing OK, but so is Phibbs, and Holmes is yet to ignite. He's shown glimpses but hasn't really shown his full potential. Can't really pick this spot until later on.

Latham will surely play fullback, but then will be gone after the Tri Nations. So then it'll probably be between Shepherd and Gerrard.

Moore has not played well at all and in my opinion Faingaa and Freier have been much better. However, I'd expect Moore to make the 30 man squad considering he's the incumbent test hooker and there hasn't been too many hookers shining.

Based on current form - those are the only Reds players who have any chance of possibly putting on a gold jersey this year.

They'll probably has as many players as the Tahs in the test team, but I still believe it's going to be a Brumbies/Force dominated side. The Brumbies have had a couple of woeful weeks, but they've got the Cheetahs this week (with Shepherdson and Campbell back), then the bye, and then Mortlock, Ashley-Cooper and I believe Fairbanks all return. With Mortlock leading the backline it should greatly improve their play.

I don't need to say too much more about the Force. They're playing better than a lot of people expected. Giteau is creating so many opportunities in what is a fairly talented backline and its leading to a number of tries.

It's not inappropriate it's the truth. It's not that the Bulls lost it's in the way they did it! Take nothing away from the Reds they deserved to win but the Bulls should feel ashamed. How do you go from 92-3 win to a 40-8 loss? I would hang my head in shame if I was a Bulls player. I say again with the greatest respect that the Reds truly deserved the win but they are a team of nobodies bar Latham and the Bulls should have beat them by 50.

Something is truly a miss in Bulls rugby at the moment, management is not looking after players and good coaches and how is it that they appointed Frans Ludeke and Pieter Rossouw? Ludeke's record speak for itself, he coached the Cats for 24 super rugby matches and only won 3! How can you appoint someone like that?

Fourie du Preez is a great player but not a good captain, I think Wickus van Heerden would be a better choice. The players need to also have a good look at themselves and realise that they are capable of much better and that's what we as Bulls supporters demand and expect from them!
