Hi guys,
I'd figure I'd open up a new thread since this is an aspect of modding Rugby 08 that might interest a lot of people.
Basically, I've been trying to update Rugby 08 to have all the International squads fully licensed according to the RWC2007, including missing players that were in Rugby 06. as well as (re-)adding licensed players to the French & Italian club sides & the Barbarians & Pacific Islanders. Thus far, I've found quite a few players that had real faces in 06 & still have the files in 08 - most of them being French, plus a couple of South Africans & Pacific Islanders. Some of the face & player IDs do correspond. However, some of the player & face IDs don't correspond, causing strange in-game situations where a player who is using the DB ID of another player that has a real face ID will have match specific commentary for that real face ID. For example, the Portuguese winger D.Skachuck will hear "Colin Charvis, great tackle" said by the main commentator after making a tackle, referring to the Welsh flanker with a real face in 06.

A couple of other issues that have come up.
