that's what happens when you put players like Ed Kalman on the pitch against an international standard scrum, since WP Nel is already qualified for Scotland why couldn't they fly him in from South Africa instead? surely better than Cross, and surely massively better than Kalman

Because he is contracted to and playing for the Cheetahs. Somehow I get the feeling they would have a few issues with Scotland flying him up at the start of the season.
