RBS 6 Nations - France vs Ireland (11-02-2012, 20:00)

I don't know him, so I couldn't answer. In the future, though, try using some commas, your post is a bit hard to understand.

He's from Limerick... so English isn't his first... well... they don't really have languages down there - more a series of grunts.:p

Thats a pretty good write up and probably pretty fair. It's about time someone did a match up between the teams so hear it goes:

1. Healy vs Poux = I'm always gonna go for Healy
2. Best vs Szarzewskwi = Best
3. Ross vs Mas = Mas
4. O'Callaghan vs Pape = Pape
5. O'Connell vs Maserti = O'Connell
6. Ferris vs Dusautoir = draw
7. O'Brien vs Harinordoquy = draw
8. Heaslip vs Picamoles = draw
9. Murray vs Parra = Parra
10. Sexton vs Trinh-Duc = draw
11. Trimble vs Malzieu = Malzieu
12. D'arcy vs Fofana = Fofana
13. Earls vs Rougerie = Rougerie
14. Bowe vs Clerc = I'll go with my gut and say Bowe
15. Kearney vs Medard = Kearney

Ireland 5, France 6 and 4 draws very close over all but Rougerie vs Earls is a match up of horrible proportions for us.
Yeah I agree more or less, I do really like Tommy.B but I have to go with my gut as well and say Clerc =] he's a great finisher and loves scoring against the Irish! and Dusautoir never disappoints so him over Ferris without a doubt!!!

doesnt any1 agree with me that you would like to see joe schmidt as the next ireland manager because i think he would be the obvious choice if we dont get anything outta this six nations because we have gone downhill since 09 like someone stated earlier bar some 1 off wins no consistenty at all.

The reason being that we have gone downhill since 2009 and, like someone stated earlier, bar some one off wins we have no consistency at all.

Just a little bit of editing makes it much more readable.

I hope your not all seriously questioning my punctuation and grammar what are you all little kids in school grow up if i wanted to add grammar i would but its a bit of fun im actually a laywer in london so i think if i wanted to i could. Also Amiga 500 dont be jealous of our wonderful language and our wonderful rugby team jealousy is a really ugly trait.

Best game of the weekend by far! To close to call, but I feel Ireland with the disapointment from lastweek will see them home. France are a quality team, no doubt. However, i think Italy made them look better than perhaps what they are right now. Ireland meanwhile were brilliant on Sunday and were extremely unlucky against an equally good Welsh team. But, because they have had exposure to tougher opposition than France last week with a higher intensity game, it should fall in Irelands favour.

I really hope Ireland win.

A "laywer" eh? ***fighting with temptation to roll out the lawyer jokes*** :D (I wind up my friends who are solicitors for sport... my simple mind being easily amused and all that!)

True, true... it is somewhat factitious of me to slag you off. All you folks speak the Queen's English wonderfully well down there. :p;) (Apart from cawk people... f**k knows what they speak... maybe Klingon or something!?!)

Defensively... undoubtedly yes.

Offensively... undoubtedly no!

Depends what you want from a full back I suppose. Eye of the beholder and all that.

It has been an increased trend on this forum for people to write sentences which make no sense at all. It did seem to coincide with the release of the new Rugby World Cup game which saw a lot of new members joining because of increased publicity of the website. Also I find it is more adults who questioning punctuation and grammar instead of little school kids (but that is just me). Either way it's common decency to write in a legible text.

Keeney is better then Meddard the same way O'Gara is better then Carter... You'd have to be 1 eyed and Irish to believe it.

Ferris must be very happy to know that his old friend Julien Dupuy has been called in replacement of Dimitri Yachvili and that he would join another Ferris' friend on the Bench: David Attoub

jesus i just realised your a moderator didnt realise they allowed 10 year olds to apply for that position.

Says the man who's English is like that of an infant.

Anyway, regarding Kearney. I'm not saying that he's a better full back than Medard, but I'd certainly put him up there in the elite bracket of European 15's, along with Foden. He's got an absolutely massive boot, is unrivalled in the air and has some pretty nice distribution skills. He used to be a pretty good offensive threat before he bulked up, much like his brother is at the moment. That said, that element of his game has certainly improved under Joe Schmidt.

I think he needs to work pretty hard of his tackling and try to become a bit more of an elusive runner, but aside for that he's top notch.

No problem 10 year old, guess if my grammar was that bad i'd still be in school.
