RBS 6 Nations - England vs Ireland - 17/03/2012 - 17:00

Ireland are having a very bad day i think court might need some more scrum practice?

More that he needs to be played on his correct side. The sooner international squads are made into 23 the better. Of course we don't have a second tighthead really so the point is moot.

I really wish I wasn't a teetoller now.

Very happy with that.
English pack fronted up well - I know the Irish scrum was no great shakes, but it's done well the rest of the 6N so good stuff.
Just generally a good performance from England.

The only positives I can see right now is that it could be Kidney's last game, please God and imagining how much worse Luimneach is feeling than me right now.

why the **** did ToL come on 8 mins into the 2nd half,
worst performance by the pack ive ever seen,
kidney has got to be in trouble after that. summer tour to NZ isnt gonna be fun

Another good performance by England, Lancaster and the players have done really well this campaign. Excellent win nothing like seeing our pack being completely dominant again it was like playing against an Australian pack in the second half :D

Our midfield still needs a bit of sorting out we should be looking for a more creative 12 or 13 as Barritt and Manu didn't exactly set the world alight this game. Hoping Twelvetrees, Trinder or Walkdouck get a call up for the sumemr tour. Farrell did what he did well but I'm hoping Flood regains his form as there are going to be teams that we won't just be able to outmuscle.

He's probably happy that "his boy Earls" was our best back. Kidney has to go. Of course the media will defend him saying ooh we lost 2 Lions captains and our forwards captain. I'm terrified he won't go until he retires.

Lots of work still to do. If you had have said England would have finished 2nd with 4 from 5 at the start I would have laughed, More than happy with that display and this year in general.

Thinking about Morgan in a Glos shirt. :D

Good result, but still have worries about England. Not much tinkering needed in the forwards (could do with introducing a 7, and the bench needs sorting out and Lawes back will be a result), but still unconvinced by England's back play in this tournament. Don't like that Farrell automatically looks to kick the ball every time he receives it. We've kicked more possession away than any other team, and when you've got Tuilagi and Foden hanging around behind you (and in the future, flair players like Wade and Sharples), why would you do that? Farrell is going to keep the shirt for a while, but I'd still love to see Burns given a go at some point and see what we can do with a flatter, more attacking backline - maybe off the bench in the summer.

Our worst 6N performance in 10 years. Kidney really has to go.

A number of Lions prospects, some of the best club rugby in Europe. Serious question what's gone wrong? I can't see players being out as an excuse. Keith Wood blaming lack of talent in numbers, 10 non Irish props in the regions.

idk about it being your worst performance. The scrum was the only significant difference between the teams (if there was parity, it would have been a very close game), and that's fairly rectifiable in the near future.

I think if we're all honest with ourselves this was the worst game anyone's eyes have ever been subjected to. For English fans it was saved only by the last half hour. I don't think I have ever seen so many 'unforced' errors. I use ' ' marks because the rain did somewhat force them, but Ireland made so many more of these than England.

The scrum was literally ridiculous. Maybe now people can stop talking about that one scrum last year in the six nations.

Ireland are still a good team, but Kidney needs to **** off.

Yes the scrum was woeful today but t's called an off day, while i'm not saying we have a world class front row they're better then that. The thing that ****** me off so much is TOL and D'Arcy, 1st TOL isn't near the Munster 22 yet he is in the Ireland one makes no sense. Then we have D'Arcy who has been proving his shiteness for years now and still starts, the other thing is rather then bring a center on to replace him he sticks a 10 in 12. **** Declan Kidney.

Great result, good to see the pack so dominant and Morgan MoM.

Was a bit disappointed with the backs at times, maybe Flood would of got them playing a bit better than Farrell did but overall played well.

I think Lancaster wil get the job now, you could see at the end his relationship with the players is fantastic and the team has steadily improved under him. I think if you were to drop him and bring in somebody new the players may have issues with the new guy.

Keep Lancaster & Rowntree, bring in another backs and attack coach (Farrell cant really do England & Saracens) and I think we should be ok.

its just the uncharacteristic mistakes and knock ons, the go forward ball from them hasn't been where it can be either
