Assistant Referees: Stefano Marrama, Stefano Roscini (both FIR)
Citing Commissioner: Alberto Recaldini (FIR)

Each side won its respective home game when Treviso and Connacht met last season, their first two meetings in any competition.
Benetton Treviso won two of their last three matches last season, and are looking for a third successive home victory in this RadoDirect PRO12 fixture. Treviso beat three of the four Irish Provinces at home last season (Ulster being the exception).
Connacht have won their opening encounter in eight of the past ten seasons. The Irishmen ended their last campaign with three successive defeats but still recorded their best finish since season 2003/04 (9th). Connacht's last seven encounters with Italian opponents in all competitions have all been won by the home side on the day.

How many players are Treviso missing? It might be worth a bet on Connacht.

Treviso 9-11 Connacht

By the sounds of it Connacht got off to a good start but missed some kicks to stretch the lead. Treviso came back into it but Connacht hung on. It was played in 30 degree heat!

And last week it was 37° and very humid! Can't wait to be back in "fresh" UK in a couple of weeks!

Connacht (with just one player at the RWC) should be beating a very weakened Treviso side (around about 15 players at the RWC) a bit more comfortably

Well connacht did lose the core of their team to munster and Leinster this year, also treviso is one of the hardest places to play in Europe so it's a very good result for Connacht.

Yeah but they missed alot of kicks so that let Treviso in the game. Connacht were almost 2/1 in the bookies so thats a nice start to the pro 12 season for me!
