Mabe he needs to lear that there are no prizes for finishing second in knockout rugby. Strong defences win games. Scoring lots of tries only is good for bonus points in group/league games.

The best way to have a dig at negative tactics is to beat them. Sarries' whole game is about disrupting the opposition and causing them as many problems as possible - usually with incredibly aggressive tackling, rucking and kicking corners to pile on pressure. Good sides (like Leinster) can find a way around that. Not good enough sides (like Gloucester) could not. And while only the absolute cream of Europe can make us look bad, I'm quite happy to play with 'negative' tactics.

The comments from Burns and Fuimaono-Sapolu are absolutely pathetic. Sore losing to the max. Why should any team change their tactics to suit another team?

Saracens showed that their tactics yesterday were right and Gloucester were suppressed for long periods of the game. This quote from Burns is just stupid: "The way they play obviously works for them, but it's always hard to play when a team just kicks and doesn't play rugby" How exactly is kicking not playing rugby? Kicking is a style of playing rugby. I also find it quite rich that Burns can say kicking isn't rugby, yet when he was playing colts level he was renowned for his kicking tactics. As gingergenius said, if Gloucester couldn't handle the tactics why on earth would Saracens opt to change them?
