Premiership Rugby 21/22 - Rd 13

And now mutterings that we are in deep financial peril....literally on the brink.

Honestly how is there not a card or a PT by now. Wasps should have had a team yellow by now anyway.

Just **** all round. Wasps ****, Leicester ****, ref ****.

Well done to the officials.

Yes we were poor but my word officiating has taken yet another dive.

Similar feeling to the Bristol game last season.

BT loving the narrative.

Officials have been terrible this weekend, they even gifted Bath a win albeit against Worcester

Gutted we lost but it was always going to be difficult after such an early red card.

Probably should have been a PT at the end, however IMHO Leicester illegally turn over and then score including a knock on but it standing, on balance I don't think either side got the rub of the green.

Over the moon with a win that Crossdale did his best to throw away.

Great game, got back hammered, loved watch wasps smash (barley scrape through) tigers.

Genge worries me though from an England perspective and goes back to his average to poor self as usual.

Genge really needs to be able to work on controlling himself. Sinckler has come on quite well but Genge doesn't seem to be developing any real control. Controlled aggression is good, wound up aggression isn't. Jones' tendency to not seem to have much care for discipline certainly works in Genge's favour but at some point England need to look at players who can't control themselves and ask if what they contribute outweighs what they can cost the team through idiocy.

Also Bath won! The comeback is on! /sarcasm

better than 14 man Worcester anyway

Welcome to our world.... no clean breaks and good rugby for Tigers this week.. just knock on's and frustrating plays. Welcome to a Wasps fan game day atm :D

Excellent win for Wasps.

Barbeary had a very good second half and has taken a lot of plaudits but I thought Tom Willis was very good while he was on. Shields is playing some decent rugby, but if you want an all action, in the face, abrasive back row, Barbeary, Willis and Willis will take some beating. Hopefully we'll get to see that combo soon.

(Even if Barbeary still looks to me like an out of position front rower….in time will be interesting to find out the real reason for the switch - can't shake the feeling that Jones may have dangled accelerated graduation to the senior team).

Gotta be poor fundamentals - Wasps were playing bin juice ahead of him at 2 before
I'm not sure if playing 8 is that easier of a path - Binny coming back to form, Dombrandt and Simmonds in the squad, Curry playing there for some reason

I do expect him to get into the backrow sooner rather than later, but we've little depth at 2 for England, and at the time he would've been making his decision we were down to the bare bones and if he were any good he'd have waltzed into the side at 2

Wasps also have Willis at 8, and no one special at hooker (Frost looks really promising, but Oghre isn't great), so they'd have kept him there if he was good
