Pre-season Games

The Pirates side is here:

https://cornish-pirates.com/match-previews/cornish-pirates-vs-exeter-chiefs/

A bit of Chief on Chief action with Caulfield appearing on the blindside (his future position?) and Billy Keast on the bench. No sign of the Chiefs side though. Good news for Pirates - the game sold out on Tuesday (4,000) bad news for me though as I was thinking of popping down to watch. On the plus side, it's being live streamed on the Pirates' Facebook page for those of us unable to make it.

Josh claufield is an interesting one, assumed he'd be in and around the chiefs squad ratner than pirates and seen on chiefs site rus tuima saying hes ready to step up to the senior squad and has been promoted, wonder if he will feature. Any word on when the announcement will be?

Solomon's at 13 again is he going to play there for the season?

Doubt he'll ever start there but we've tried him at 13 a number of times since he joined (when there's been injuries/mass substitution).
Makes sense to have a proper look at him there as we're gonna have Yarde, Solomona, McGuigan, JOC and Ashton all vying for the back three spots, and Odogwu and Reed challenging too. Seeing how many are viable options in other positions makes life easier for selection/the bench spot.

Hope it works

Anyone know whats happenes to jack maunder for chiefs? He played some good games for chiefs, did well and looked a real prospect at 19, got a cap for england. Then disappeared and i assumed hed be involved in pre season. Anyone know anything?

Sale win 17-20,
Think we spent about 20mins a man down so decent enough result, really

Chiefs lost to cornish pirates 29- 21, terrible stream but from what i could make out there were quite a few defensive lapses,

Bath beat Edinburg 12-10 last night. Only read the write up. Bath enjoyed loads of possession while only scoring 1 try in the 1st half, got pegged back in the second but Jamie Roberts scored the winner. Blackadder singles out Josh Baylis for praise

Well we got spanked by Glasgow. Good first half but went to **** in the second. Bothma was fantastic, but looked like he hurt his arm quite bad. Smith was the best Quin on the pitch and Matawalu is a god. Baretto is a talent, ibitoye and Earle were disapointing. We still look passive up front snd still can't catch a ball. Smith is a demon in the tackle and Matt Symons is average at best. Cheeseman is just there I guess and Marchant was ok.

Also Smith is ******* huge compared to last year. Big beefy boi, but still agile enough to grab a nice intercept try

And that's my write up.

Great result for Chiefs 38 - 10. Didnt see the game but scores from simmonds, whitten, LCD ect.

Gloucester picked up a win on the road n all

Sale and Newcastle beat the French champs and Celtic champs, away from home.
Safe to say the North rules Europe.

Has anyone got a full list of pre season results or a link to a good site?
