Pool 1 (Glasgow, Leicester, Munster, Racing Metro)

First half was all Munster calls.

No qualms from Munster. We did het a few iffy calls I agree. Fair result.

Just hearing though for Zebo yellow that ref was against pen and TMO influenced it. Can anyone clear it up

Marginally perhaps. Over the 80 there's no contest though. Ref was blown away by the atmosphere. It happens. Its why Leicester are hard to beat at Welford Road and Munster are hard to beat at Thomond.

Referee wanted to go with touch first, but TMO said it was a penalty.

Pretty decent kick from the wrong player, playing for the wrong club in a different country (principality!)

Only Niall Scannell came out of that with any credit. The likes of Stander, TOD, Holland, Kilcoyne, Donnacha Ryan were anonymous. **** poor display from Bleyendaal and Taute also.

Poor but still nearly snuck it. Look nothing went well but give credit to Tigers they deserved it and was a super kick to win it.

Munster have two games against a down and out Racing so not all bad

Racing will want to win at home also they have 2 week break effectively after it.
Leicester are a proud club and will want to try win their last 2 games.
We have to go to Glasgow. Its still a twist and turn scenario

Good result for Glasgow I guess.

I don't know Bruce.
Glasgow still have to go to Welford and play us at home. Add in we still have game in hand.
Being honest everyone will think their team is in a good position which makes it interesting

Scrappy game Munster backs lacked any flair and they stayed in the game with their forwards playing the pick and drive card . Leicester are more than a little disjointed and their pack is a real Achilles Heel . Last 15 minutes was by far the best part of dour spectacle .

So Genge for England?

Yet our scrum is prob our biggest strength esp on grass.

I fancy our chances v Glasgow at Home our narrow pitch will play in our favor.

This made me smile, imagine Mako leaving the pitch and then genge coming on, defences would pap themselves. Awesome carries by him today.

So the teams for the game v Racing have been released.

Very odd that Earls is in the squad but not starting. Maybe not fully fit, but in that case should he be playing at all? No 10 on the bench and our A team also has no 10 in their squad for the weekend. O'Donnell has flew unexpectedly back to fitness. Kleyn and Du Toit have a virus of some sort, so maybe they should stop kissing each other so tenderly and we'd have at least one of them. We'll really miss out on Kleyn's aggression against a big Racing pack.

Simply put. Earls was ousted by other 2 playing well in a very intense and rough game Tuesday. Agreed Kleyn will be missed but Billy going well and Dave was like a young Donnacha O'Callaghan Tuesday.
Rory is covering 10 as he's done in 5 or 6 games already this year.

Great to see Bruno again. Tommy trained all week by way.

Had a giggle looking at the Racing team. Their HB have never played a league game together :D. Never heard of Matthieu Voisin and Gerbrandt Grobler before.
They wouldn't dare field that team in T14.

Well it makes sense. They've no chance in this pool and they haven't even been walloped in Limerick yet.

absolutely. But I can't help the giggle looking at their team compo (and generally everything else about Racing) because it's still a ridiculous selection by all accounts.

They're wondering why they're not firing this season. Looking at the age profile of their senior players says why even to the blind - they signed a host of over the hill guys for silly money - when we're busy getting rid of ours.

With the salaries they're paying their senior players like Sarswezky Nyanga Masoe (never mind Carter) + Goosen's ridicule pay hike (and what's Ali Williams doing there?!) and their ambition in Europe (according to Lorenzetti). It's just so funny seen from down here.

Racing are the biggest cock-up this season hope they keep it up till June.
