He's in my roster patch though.. reckon i could get a job as an EA research monkey?

why monkey ? you could get a good job ... regarding to what they did with the rosters... we do the updates for free where some guys are paid for !!!

btw is there a transfer window in rugy as there is in football ? i won't start the world league till i get the 2007/08 teams.

As with all EA series games, the research is never that great. EA Rugby is probably the worst of the lot.

A lot of these players are edited over for my patch as so many are missing, so i generally give them average stats depending on who they are, where they play and what country they come from.

I made all the Tongans, Samoans and Fijians hard running tough boys, which less technique, and the other teams average technique with average abilities.

Games like this are always best if each team has a star player. I will probably work on that. Every team has a great player who makes the others around him play better, those are the ones who get stars IMHO.. and of course the bigger names like Hayman, Muliana, Giteau etc for some authenticity.

Playing a team like Romania and neutralising there star player with some skill is maybe more fun than bashing 15 men into the dirt IMHO.

Please can somone give me a "editing stats for dummies" guide to editing stats? Pierre Spies' stats are so way off it's scary. I mean really. In-game he is a slow loose-foreward/flyhalf whos special ability is tactical kicking... Wheras in real life he was last year's second fastest Springbok over 100m (just behind Habana) whos special ability is most certainly line-breaking. At provincial level he has played in jerseys 7,8 and 14, and at national level at 7 and 8. Someone please fix it, or explain to me how i can.

download woosaah's editor in the download section of the forum. you'll be able to edit the players. notice that chabal has only 78 strength in the game !!!

I am looking for some basic things like who is the main goalkicker, who is the main lineout jumper and things like that. Obviously, for a team like Toulon, Mehrtens is kicker and Matfield is lineout taker, but i need this info for other teams.

If you can list your team with the following, i would appreciate it. I don't know much about Super10, Top14 and minnow teams from Romania and Spain.

speaking of toulon, I'm trying to create toulon by replacing brescia. So far I have only worked out how to change the name. Can someone help me? Also if someone can create an andrew merhtens face for my team that would be awesome
