i didnt exagerate anything...as i stated they either "were" allblacks or "potential" allblacks
there is no mistake about latimer..who was our youngest nz sevens rep remember..he puts on the 7 jersey for 2 games and scores 4 tries

no exageration there he is an awesome talent....they are all special players if they were allblacks or metioned as future ones..all have been

i think the saffers have an even depth in that backrow..they have some freaky big ass loose forwards who can run along side the backs..

the aussies have george smith...he is the man,i love seeing him and mccaw go toe to toe every bledisloe..awesome match up...i dont rate palu...he is nothing special..fava and lyons however are my fav aussie loosies...

if i had to choose a number 8...from any team as my fav..it would chabal...tuffest mo fo rugby player on the planet

Latimer looks like a future star, hopefully he gets more of a chance to play next year......Maybe they can move McCaw to blindside to make room for him.

I reckon Palu is an awesome player, he was probably the Tahs best flanker before he got injured and he made an instant impact when he came on last night.

Palu will be the next Jerry Collins.

potentially...yup...palu is an exciting prospect but he needs to get the f*** away from that league mindset..his tackles too high and with ball carryin he has the tendency of a league forward to run with his shoulders high..rather then down into the tacklers gut like we were taught in skool!

but jerry collins atm is in a class of his own concerning that 6 jersey...he surprises me every week when he duz those slick passes!!!..put him at 8 i reckon

but chabal is my dawg...the world stage needs to see him more..he is the most rugged rugby player ive seen play since buck shelford..and ya know how buck shelford playz tha game...i just love the fact that he duz the basics for a number 8 but 20x better then anyone else...

Chabal is a good player, but if you watch him every week he isn't actually all that. He has a tendency to disappear in some of the big matches, if the opposition stand up to him he sometimes doesn't want to know.

Destructive when he is on his game though.

i like his game tho..i looovvveeeed the old skool days of zinny and the other traditional international power house looseforwards..guess thats why i favor him..hes rugged as football gets nowaday days..he would be quite destructive on a backrow with either mccaw, collins or george smith, phil waugh

He is an absolute beast when he gets going. Has the looks for it as well.

The only problem, but something which could be aimed at a lot of French players, is his temprement.

Collins, White and Chabal for the biggest hitting back-row ever?
