Nuovo Ordine Mondiale - Pro14: Round 6

an experimental side for a derby? :D
I'll explain, we have possibly our strongest possible 15 based on form on the field, but they're in a slightly odd order. We have three traditional tens playing at once with our typical 12 Scannell playing from the bench. I genuinely have no idea what the logic is yet, but it's definitely not a weakened side, they're just looking to play the game differently (in fact if we get a few injuriesin the backs we're abundantly screwed for Europe). It's something I don't think any fan predicted in a very settled side.

Hahaha wut, that was well forward Connacht.

Dragons playing some great stuff at the CAP. 3 tries in the first half, two of them crackers. #

If they can keep it going it'll be a big win for them, especially with their injury list at present.

Edit. Really like the look of Amos at fullback. Fully believe that's his best position going forward.

"He'll never score a better [try] than that" - Neilly has a very pessimistic outlook on Stockdale's career. International starter in my books btw, with Earl's on the opposite wing.

Lowwww lieeee, we'll let you score 5 tries, but when we lose we'll all screech and cryyyy. We have flakes on the wing, we were good in 2016, we're so poor that John Mulddon still looks spryyyyyyy.

Some athlete he's turned into now. Thoughts on McCloskey from a non Ulster perspective?

Ron Jeremy of the rugby world. For such a big man famed for smashing through holes he shows some surprising delicate touches with his hands.

I've liked what I've seen tonight and I hadn't for most of last season, I obviously can't see him displacing Henshaw and I'd imagine Bundee would be more useful in a competent set up as well but he'd be a useful guy to invest a few more caps in before 2019. One criticism would be that he's not very light on his feet.

Big win for the Blues in the end. Ran out of steam in the end after having to defend for most of the second half.

Zebre close again! A massive turn around for them in the space of 12 months, for sure. Haven't seen it but that's also an excellent win for Glasgow.

Cardiff started quite poorly, and instantly leaked a try and a yellow card. They were weak at protecting attacking ball again and their attacking patterns were a bit pedestrian first half. Second half they decided to go wide a lot more frequently, they were attacking from much deeper and brought Tom James into the game a lot. The Dragons became very tired very quickly in defence. In the end it was very comfortable. Henson looks to be enjoying his rugby at the Dragons. He's lost his pace, but he is controlling the game very well from 10. Quick mention for K Dacey - 70 games, 20 trys for the hooker, great stat.
