Since Slade didn't show anything to select him, I would give JJ a go for this. Slade is a classy player and I'm sure he will get another chance and preform in that however.

If i had a choice id have genge and kruis, slade over loz...loz over slade going off last weeks performance. Plus 12/13 cover.

Browns been kept, does that mean he is fit or they are hoping he will be.

Still want watson as FB for England but we have to prepare ourselfs for him to not be as solid as brown and take sometime for him to nail down first choice.

I think we'll have Lawes/Launch/Itoje all starting with Robshaw/Simmonds on the bench.
OR Launch bench, Itoje/Lawes second row.

Loz should be there over Slade, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Slade not make the 23, with Roko on the bench.

Genge vs Marler is a tough call. I really really rate Marler though, so I'm happy to see him back. Don't think it's a panic drop, rather Marler is one of the best looseheads in the world and is in our 23 every time when everyone's fit, and going into our toughest game of the series.
I reckon we'll see Marler/Genge for Samoa, maybe even Genge starting.

I'd drop Daly to the bench, in that case, he's not a good enough winger to be a starting international. He should either be utility from the bench or a starter at 13.

I'd like to see Faz and Daly in the centres at some point. Has Daly actually been tried at 13 yet? That said, Australia isn't the game for it. Slade-Daly against Samoa would be good to see.

Daly at 13 isn't gonna happen at this point. If EJ saw it as an option, it would've been tested by now.

Yes and you could well argue that in the first test there was a 10+ points differential because of his poor positioning (his failure to score in the corner and failure to secure the high ball for Ioane's run in)

Yup, and I believe all his England caps have been on the wing.
However he's never played there other than at international level (think he might have gotten a bit of time there from the bench early on in his wasps days).
I've said it a hundred times before on here buy his wing play is poor. He's an incredibly talented player so it's not as noticeable, but his positioning, touchline defence and finishing are not at international standard. They're still good, don't get me wrong, but not really top drawer. Think EJ originally put him on the wing because we didn't have much going on the left wing and had an established 13 in Joseph, and now he's just going with it because it's working. I think 11. May, 13. Daly could be better than 11. Daly, 13. Joseph
