They have generally announced the Springbok teams the Thursday prior at 2pm. Not sure if they will do it 2pm CAT or 2pm UK time.

According to Blitz it will be announced at 13:00 SA time. But Tuesday on TMO they said they expect the team will be announced around 16:00.

Nonetheless, the team will be announced this afternoon.

Latest reports suggest that Pieter Steph Du Toit and Willem Alberts will be the flankers with Whiteley at no. 8.

Which means that Etzebeth and Lood De Jager will be the locks.

Perhaps a good idea if its going to be a wet match...

Earlsfield / Wimbledon are Saffa areas, Wimbledon's not a great socialising area but Wandsworth / Earlsfield has a few good pubs - there's a place called GJs with a big screen and I think a good Saffa contingent

The Wandle pub - two minutes walk from Earlsfield station - would be your best bet in that area. Fulham's a huge Saffer area and plenty of great pubs near Broadway. (And Chelsea are aren't playing)

The only problem now is even if we win this and the match is close, everyone still going to say we struggled against a weak England team... And then the worst is if we still lose this match...

Think Lancaster might sue Eddie for copyright infringement looking at that pack

When I saw EJ's face this morning, I got reminded of the Japan-SA RWC post match presentation, and it hit me that we can do one up on him this weekend. Not impossible.
Then I thought of our team and AC and then bleh  ...

Welcome to life as a non-dominant team... the NH hemisphere teams have to deal with this every time we play the SH.

I've not watched a lot of Quins this season - how is Brown playing?
I know we should trust in Eddie, never lost blah blah blah but I'm a bit disappointed too. But injuries have forced his hand in certain spots. Obviously hoping for a win, but I don't want us to take a backwards step in team selections as a result.

Hope Hughes gets I'll or injured and can't play and that Jamie George gets some proper game time and not the usual 2-5mins at the death.

That's one way of looking at it. But because of what happened this year, we are clearly the underdogs, going up against a team that has been unbeaten for 9 consecutive matches.

England are clearly the favourites, and some articles even boast about how much depth they have.

Depending on the team we select, we actually have a chance to end their run, and win some respect back. We have been so utterly dire all year, this match could be something of a turning point. We will also see how much of an impact Franco Smith and JP Ferreira has in the coaching box...
