No, it's cool, I can see where you're coming from. When he's been awful this year, he's been awful, and the whole team has suffered. If he carries that form into play-off football, well...
As I said he has all the tools and if he keeps consistently producing top displays for next 4/5 years then he'll be in the top top bracket. But also it's up to the Packers to keep him strong with excellent options like this year.

Earlier the Detroit Lions looked good and could be dark horses if they can get Bush back healthy.
Eagles are looking awesome. Cowboys just seem to be on their annual decline but the season looks hot now. Seahawks and 49ers next will be cracker too.

Watched my first ever game of CFL yesterday, and quite enjoyed it.

The most odd thing was seeing all the players in motion at the snap as opposed to static the way they are in NFL. Also, the kicking rules seemed a bit haphazard and it seemed that the kicking team could recover the ball more easily. The end zones looked bigger too.

welcome to the dark side :D The whole field is bigger. 110 yds by 65 yds, 20 yd end zone.

On a side note, Shane Bergman, lineman for the Calgary Stampeders, is from my county. I used to play high school rugby against him  And club rugby with him, thank god. We had 2 man lineout where he just picked me up by the back of my shorts.

Delighted Stamps won it. BoLevi really has made a superb impact and well the Stamps were the best team in regular season.

Good Saints win on Sunday - started slowly, was worried over the number of 3rd downs they converted but once Brees found a rythym he went with it. Shame Atlanta won too but we're still in the run, thanks to this rubbish division, to make the playoffs.

They still have great chance. That division is desperate this year though.

All kicks in the CFL are "live" like they are in rugby(unless they hit a goal post). It's essentially rugby's rules on kicking though with the caveat that a kick must go at least 20 yards in order for you to recover it. There is also the single point rule, if a ball is kicked into the endzone and either goes out of bounds or the returning team takes a knee the kicking team is awarded 1 point(though the returning team still takes possession)/

Was meant to be the most competitive division. Thank god it isn't.

Although considering Saints will most likely be away I doubt we will get far.

But in Cooks and Stills we have 2 extremely promising youngsters. But Saints need to start to look at potential Brees replacements, not now or anything but we need to be exploring options in the next couple of season. Also wish saints had better cheerleaders Broncos are the best imo.

Not just Cooks and Stills, Vaccaro is developing nicely,Sunseri has potential. Issue is in the upcoming draft the QB quality isnt there. Theres the Oregon starter, but he'll go top 5 after that there isnt the same depth as last year.

Yeah I think people who are unfamiliar with CFL have to understand scoring system as it dictates tactics more too.
What did you think LittleGuy of final? I'm delighted Stamps won as they were best team all season and delighted for guys like Cornish but at same time it's hard to not feel sorry for Hamilton.

Do you like the single muffin? I really like it I think it adds those tactics as you say and ads nuance to the game, I think the Canadian code actually has a lot more nuance and tactics to it than the American code. Some pro NFL Canadian always bash the single but I think the goes to their ignorance about the game.

Perhaps my favourite difference between the two games though is the smaller play clock, combined with the longer plays it seems action in the CFL is more constant than the NFL which has lengthy periods of everyone standing around huddling.

Hamilton took way too long to get into the game, it was like a microcosm of their entire season as a whole with a dreadful start and a frenetic last minute charge. They had a lot of self inflicted errors none worse than allowing a 26 yard field goal be blocked. A lot of other Ti Cats fans were gutted(especially on the penalty, which was the correct call) but it was pretty amazing we even had a chance in the 4th quarter considering how dominant Calgary looked at times. I'm also pleased with their effort as some were expecting a blowout and can't be too ticked because Calgary are the most deserving champion in some time.

I think it's great as it adds that extra bit to games but also means defence is rewarded more. And I agree with you definitely the game flows more in CFL.

But I think Hamilton just let 1st half pass by. Calgary had same issues last year. I remember being at game when we comfortably beat Roughriders in 2nd or 3rd last regular season game then in playoffs were blown away by them as we simply just froze.

Hello!

We are a group of students in Sport Management at the Copenhagen Business Academy.

We are conducting a survey as part of our research - we are looking into how the NFL can most efficiently expand to the UK and what is the fans' attitude towards that.

Please fill out the survey, it won't take you a long time but it will add a lot of value to our research.

URL removed

We can post the findings of our analysis later on, if you're interested.

Thanks!

Edit: I have removed the URL now as we have collected plenty of responses and we'll start analyzing them.
Big thanks to everyone who participated, you have been very helpful!

Done.

Thank you Green Bay. Somehow at 5-8 we are still well in the race for the division "win". Chicago next Monday then Atlanta and Tampa to finish. That Atlanta game will probably decide the division.

It's still a joke that someone will win the division with an awful record like that. I've a sneaky feeling Carolina could make a dash too :D

Yep. Been a poor divison this year. 3 good teams hugely underacheiving. Makes it sort of exciting that its so close.

Don't get me wrong it's been great but to see it be a division winning record while a team with a much better record will struggle to get a wild card is crazy.
