Oh Care what a fool. He deserves all he gets tbh. Ten grand fine before he even gets in court. Youngs might have a wry smile, Care looked to be in a little form.

u guys gotta let ben start hes given up a certain wales squad spot for u guys look after him well this guy is pure class

5 minute cap at the end and never heard of again seems more likely tbh :p

Care needs a slap. Bloody halfwit.

As previously noted, the best news Ben Youngs heard all year.

A front row of Marler and Stevens with Borthwick and Croft for grunt... we might as well lift the ref's arm for him and run back ten everytime there's a knock on.

Be honest man - do you honestly believe this is the best out there, or are you attempting an act of sabotage? :p

Care's offense wasn't rugby-related in the slightest, so it's very harsh on him to be banned from the EPS, but it does send out the message that what happened in the WC will not be happening again - whether he should have done that with probably our best SH, I'm not sure. Dickson as the replacement?

Very good news on Morgan. That settles the backrow. We take: Croft, Robshaw, Morgan, Waldrom, Wood, Seymour (is he fit?). Robshaw, Morgan and Wood starts. Croft on the bench.

Tuilagi is a doubt for Scotland and Italy. I'd still have him in for the remaining 3 games. Maybe Trinder will get a go now! :)

Seymour (is he fit?)
Aye, he is. He walked out of the stadium fine, but I believe is on "enforced rest" for a week or so, as those are the rules with regards to concussions.

While I agree to an extent, drunk driving is incredibly stupid and dangerous so I'm all for punishing him in this way - players should know that if they act like a pillock away from the pitch it's going to have an effect on their selection, "the image of the game" and all that jazz.

Few things from the England press conference happening atm:

Portugal camp has been scrapped for one in Leeds.
Captain will be named after the camp.
Sheridan not being considered until the summer at least.
Ben Morgan signed latest Scarlets contract before the no-foreign-players rule, so is eligible regardless of restrictions.

Is it likely that Morgan will move to an English club now?

He will probably have to on his next contract unless the rules are changed or he fancies a short international career.

Anyone know how long his contract is?
I've heard rumours about a move to Gloucester - Maybe he'd be interested in Bristol if they came back up, as he's from there.

Edit: Just seen his contract is until the end of next season.

Guess the Turks will start to play Murphy a bit more than.
Disappointed not to have Morgan but it's his choice.

Morgan and Narraway at the same club makes zero sense though.

This is kind of what I was hoping for. :p Close to his home, not a big move from the Scarlets so closer to his friends etc. As has been said, we already have Narraway, and there are other positions which we should focus the salary cap on... but it wouldn't be the worst if he came to play for us. :D Plus, we can aim to make Narraway a 6...

Good news about Morgan. He and Waldrom should contest the no. 8 jersey until somebody amazing comes along (ie. Billy Vunipola turning into Faletau).

Right call on Care. 2 warnings in a month is bad enough, but with England wanting to lose the 'heavy drinker' tag, strict discipline was always going to be on the agenda. Great shame, because he's our best 9 on form, but should be a good opportunity for Simpson to get some caps off the bench.

Scrum half was the one position that picked itself, what with Wigglesworth being out for the season. Anyone got any suggestions for a 3rd now? Not his biggest fan, but I'm inclined to go with Dickson since he offers something different to the other two.
