So I went today, got some of pictures and an autograph from purito, sadly not by nairo neither froome, I did got to touch chris froome's replacement bike, and talk to thibaut pinot and angel vicioso.
The only disappontment was not being able to take the picture with Nairo, not taking my 29' mountain bike to compare it to nairo's bike (that I was able to see, it's smaller than an s size bike with 28 inches wheels), because I had to go in subway 'cause daddy needs to work.
Confirmed by vicioso, they consume like 25 galons of water every day.
Chris Froome didn't came out of the bus until the last moment. I understand: literally everybody was screaming "Fróm, Fróm, Fróm".
I did saw the irish guy who later falled, I lifted the band so he could enter the briefing with his bike and he said "gracias" with actual spanish accent. Great guy, super cool with the kids.
I can only feel sadness because Sagan wasn't here. I mean, I would have murdered one of those little 8 year old ******** to get his autograph. Tinkoff saxo without him or Contador didn't got so many fans. They missed it: Majka is a monster and I would have liked to get his sign.
Anyway, great people everyone. Cycling is relatively humble, so you can get everywere and you don''t have to give explanations to anybody, unlike F1 for example.
Funny thing: to notice the difference between their time and mine to climb oronet. In my best day I can go 20 km/h, they did it 42 like it was nothing. Both humiliating and marvellous.
Curious picture: the fall of the irish guy was in a roundabout, a monument to the spanish nonsense: two narrow lanes outside a huge grass center; they could have made 6 or 7 lanes, but they had to put the big circle for no reason at all. What a waste of space. Spanish roundabouts: that thing.
Cheers!
