Maybe they are already and we just don't know. I guess we'll have to wait for our forum porno expert to tell us? :)

those bloody Union players, you wouldn't see any League boys doing anything like that

on a more serious note, I have heard the same story as mentioned on here

we may never know as the ARU are good at covering up to protect the image of the code

if this comes out in public it appears all partys will be embarressed as hell

O'Neil has done a wonderful thing, in sacking Lote, and saying, if you wanna go legal, and make it public, your call

So if this is true, for Lote to get his 700k per year back, he will sacrifice his wife, kids his whole reputation morally would be shattered

O'neil has put Lote in the perfect predicament........and saves the code 700k per year on a crap tryless winger

Agreed. Lote was on 1.2million, a waste from the Gary Flowers era.

What an eeeediot putting all that money on the line.

If that gangbang story is true.. gah-damn! the chick better have been bloody hot.. but even then, that still wouldn't be worth losing your job over!!!!

Well apparently there is no Police matter involved in his sacking so I am wondering how can he get sacked for having a gang bang? If there is no Police involved then certainly the girl involved in the group sex did not go to he Police for any sexual assault etc. How did John O'Neil and Co find out about it. Did he walk into the room while the gangbang was going on? or maybe it was Deans? It's confusing but then again its only a rumour.

I doubt there is any truth to the 'gang bang' story...

However, it seems like alcohol was definitely involved and there's a lot of talk about a young girl going back to his hotel room...

The gangbang story does seem a bit far-fetched, but whatever Tuqiri has done, it seems O'Neill has been waiting for any conduct that may constitute a serious enough breach of a conditional or intermediate term to allow him to terminate and save money. Most of you will probably (i.e already have) coo at Tuqiri's dismissal forgetting the fact that O'Neill is foremost a ******** solicitor that has continually damaged our reputation and has little concern for the well-being of the players under his authority. Already we've seen how this has created disharmony between the Wallabies and the ARU. Maybe i'm being too harsh, but blokes like O'Neill are the reason why many young lawyers would rather work in public service than become solicitors dealing in civil and commercial law.

Gary Flowers may not have had the business acumen that O'Neill no doubt possesses (**** an ex lawyer that can squeeze a buck) but he had a vision for Australian rugby that went beyond advertising endorsements and snide comments.

Are you kidding? Flowers had the vision of a fly. Who do you think was the guy pushing for an extended Super 14? Who took us to Hong Kong last year, Tokyo this year and most likely Denver, Colorado next year? O'Neill. He is what this code needs.

All the while stunting the development of grass roots rugby in this country. Just look at the ARC, a new comp isn't going to make a profit in its first year, and despite the obvious effect it had on player development in that short amount of time, it was still axed. O'Neill is there for the bottom line, he's good at making money.

ARC was never going to work, I think people rather support the local comps. Ask Wally, at Crosby Park at Brothers has an awesome suburban feeling to it. ARC didn't.

Well maybe John O'Neil was also involved in this gang bang...

Tuqiri is supposed to be in talk with Bayonne and so may join the Top14.

TROUBLED former Wallaby Lote Tuqiri has made his return to competitive rugby, playing on the wing for West Harbour against Warringah in the NSW Shute Shield club competition.[/b]
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div>
"The competitive juices started going in the second half,'' he said. "I was pretty happy with the game, got a few touches on it and busted a few tackles, so it's good for the confidence. Back into footy, I love it mate, and I can't think of anything better to get my mind off things.''[/b]
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div>
He said he would wait for the legal action to finish before deciding where he would play out his career.[/b]
We shall see...

The ARC was never going to work with the ARU not committed to the concept over a three year, at least, period.

As to an extended S14, think that might reduce the number of Rugby spectators rather than increasing it. Melbourne as an expansion base is not a long term solution, as stated previously it's an AFL City.

O'Neill is trying to ride the shirt tails of both New Zealand and South Africa, in the long term that is not going to be viable as people are already complaining about the sameness of the matches in this Country. When you can't sell out a Bledisloe then the sport is in trouble.

I'd much... MUCH rather a decent national third tier competition than the amateurish local comps. we have going now...

It's tough to hang on to quality Australian players who aren't involved in the Wallaby squad after the Super 14 when they're forced to play backyard rugby...
