3 teams and you've all gone for Wilkinson, are you all South African or something?

Puh, it can't be worse than picking O'Gara. <_< I would pick Hook, but then again, I would. ^.^

Based on this season so far how can you not pick O'Gara? I don't think there is a better distributor that the lions could pick.

So what just cause I'm Irish I'm gonna pick O'Gara as my outhalf, give me a break, it's a toss up between Cipriani and Hook for me, with Hook edging it at the moment as he actually is an international player, but I've no doubts Cipriani will take to being an international fly half like a duck to water, so come 2009 there should be quite a dilemma for the coach. National bias goes out the window for me with the Lions, I want them to win and if come the time it means no Irish in the team then sobeit

1-Sheriden
2-Ford
3-Hayes
4-Hines
5-Shaw
6-White-captain
7-Williams
8-Leamy
9-Blair
10-Hook
11-S Williams
12-Darcy
13-Shanklin
14-S Lamont
15-R Lamont

I just noticed how Scottish biased that is for apologies for that

Heh it was just a wu, mate, didn't mean to be offensive. Cipriani actually needs to start for England, but Saint Wilko seems to be a shoe-in everytime for some reason. So yeh, Hook at half-back at the moment, although it would be easier to say if we knew the coaching set-up.

Is there any form No. 8's out there at the moment from any of the Home Nations, Nick Easter was poor against Italy, unable to see any of the France-Ireland or Scotland -Wales games

Ryan Jones, definately the best no.8 of the lot at the mo'. No bias of course, but he's been inspirational as a captain, something Wales hasn't had (a good captain) for a while.

Heaslip has been in outstanding form for Leinster but it's very early days in his international career but he does have the potential to be a test starter, I think come tour time there'll be plenty of quality competition for the back row spots.

Ive always rated Ryan Jones over Micheal Owen though dosnt jones continually get injured??

Well, he has very few caps for Wales, and has missed the World Cup, and the 2006 season if I remember correctly. Although, he's already played two consecutive games, so things are looking good; and you better not have jinxed it there!

No way is Ross Ford good enough!!! He is a poor man's hooker

If i remember correctly i think he was one of the few stars of the previous lions tour of New Zealand so if he stays fit he could be a star in SA

The DVD showing highlights of the Lions Tour to NZ rated Ryan Jones as the best Lions player in a list of ten. He definately was a great player on that tour, along with a number of Welsh players, although you can't say that they'll play well on this tour because of what happened 2.5 years ago.
