Now we have completed week one of this years 6N who's heading to the departure lounge?

I felt that Darge, Kinghorn, Jones and Graham should be settling in

I've never seen much to merit the hype Ollie Lawrence gets (especially at 12) but I thought he looked very decent yesterday.

13 is going to be a minefield as I think Jones is the standout player there, Ringrose is just behind him, and now Lawrence is knocking on the door.

Amazingly, in a 43-0 loss, Jac Morgan still stood out as one of the best players on the pitch!

I think it's easy for a flanker in a defending side to look good though. All he had to do was tackle, ruck, turnover etc. he's good but there's much more to a flanker than that which is hard to see in a beaten team like that.

What about Nicky Smith? I bought he looked really good when he came on?

Think Duhan might struggle to make the squad this time. He had strapping on his ankle and doesn't seem 100% fitness wise. While he's a beast with ball in hand I think his limitations (poor under the high ball, mediocre defence and lack of boot) will be a problem for Farrell. Plus there is stronger competition for places for this tour. Think Graham has a much better chance of touring.

That's a little unfair, as he also carried well (the most carries by a Welsh forward in the past 15 years of 6N games apparently), always battling for an exta metre or two post contact. And he was also heavily involved in some of the only good passages of play Wales put together - e.g. he had a good run up the touchline.

Smith added some dynamism when he came on, but blotted his copybook with a couple of mistakes e.g. lost control of the ball after a half break. I've been critical of Gareth Thomas in the past, but he was decent v France too, worked his arse off in defence. His issue is that he doesn't offer much ball in hand, so I don't really see him in thr frame.
