I think it's easy for a flanker in a defending side to look good though. All he had to do was tackle, ruck, turnover etc. he's good but there's much more to a flanker than that which is hard to see in a beaten team like that.Amazingly, in a 43-0 loss, Jac Morgan still stood out as one of the best players on the pitch!
That's a little unfair, as he also carried well (the most carries by a Welsh forward in the past 15 years of 6N games apparently), always battling for an exta metre or two post contact. And he was also heavily involved in some of the only good passages of play Wales put together - e.g. he had a good run up the touchline.I think it's easy for a flanker in a defending side to look good though. What about Nicky Smith? I bought he looked really good when he came on?
Duhan was on the top 6 of stats for metres carried and gained this weekend (caveat: against Italy). He'll make the squad, test 23? Should do but probably a question mark.Think Duhan might struggle to make the squad this time. He had strapping on his ankle and doesn't seem 100% fitness wise. While he's a beast with ball in hand I think his limitations (poor under the high ball, mediocre defence and lack of boot) will be a problem for Farrell. Plus there is stronger competition for places for this tour. Think Graham has a much better chance of touring.
