Leinster v Leicester

****ing hell, both Hamilton and Horgan are trying to give the gameto the opposite side. <_<

Good, even contest overall. Just about deserved winners in the end.

Very close between Elsom and Hipkiss for MOTM IMO.

Pretty good game, fair play to Leinster they've been immense in the Knock-Out stages, and deserved this all the way. Elsom was just fantastic, wonder if he'll go back to Australia because they obviously want him back!

Whoot! Cracking match. Really enjoyed it. First try was a travesty of bad tackleing and Hipkiss looking like Darcy did on his Golden year.

Was Murphy injured or something?

Congrats to Leinster, I wonder will Barnes have a hard on for them next year?

who knows? the hard-on of Barnes be very fickle...

He got on my nerves for the whole game today, really annoying when he kept saying 'WE HAVE A HEINEKEN FINALLLL!1!1!!!@' everytime someone scored... He said a few times how good Whittaker is  doesn't he realise Whitakker is a very poor scrum half, but is the best Leinster have in that position (very much like Spice with the Blues).

I think there are those in Leinster who would argue that O'Donoghue is far better than smelly ould Whitaker.

Never really seen O'Donaghue tbh, though they've already got a very decent scrum half next season in the shape of Eoin Reddan.

Well done Leinster! Enjoyable watch and I'm happy with the outcome (Not a fan of Leicester at all...).

Like watching Ireland v Wales for the Grand Slam.

Leinster were good, but the amount of turnovers and mistakes kept Lychester in the game.

Sexton had a weird game - supreme first half, bottled it in the second, then slotted the winning kick. Mind you, that was down to the tigers pack taking over mid way through. But he should have been up for those two penalty kicks in the third quarter. Talented, but doesn't have the temperament ... yet.

End result: BOD is 2/3 of the way through his dream season. But SA's Bulls would have both finalists for breakfast, so I fear for his Lions team.

(My sour grapes: Munster would have ground Leicester in to sausage meat. Damn you D4!)

I'm absolutely pleased with the result. Well Done Leinster! Glad that the Heineken Cup is staying in Ireland. Fantastic year for O'Driscoll, and in his own words, now the Lions Tour.
Rocky Elsom is tha man. End of story. I wonder where he's going to be next season. I know the Wallabies need him back.
