I've worked out on that calculator, that if South Africa beat Australia, France beat England and Wales beat Ireland, Wales will go up to third on the rankings their highest ever!

This won't excite the Welsh too much as they have constantly belittled the significance of the IRBWRs. However, I feel if the 3rd place position is attained, they may suddenly spot how wonderfully representative they are......

Never seen it on here, and I live in Wales and have never heard that either...

Ok, I have made a sweeping generalisation but I have had many a discussion with my many welsh friends and colleagues (I too live in South Wales) where they have said that the IRBWR must be inaccurate as England have consistently been in the top 5, and usually above Wales. All part of good friendly banter of course....

Latest Rankings.*

Huge jump for Tonga, but I don't think they are 9th best in the world. France dropped right down and deservedly so and Wales, Ireland and Argentina*benefitted*from this.
I think Italy are better than Scotland and Samoa but apart from that everything seems ok
