Congrats to the Irish, as a Welshman I can appreciate what an achievement it is.

I do think though (& have thought for a while) that the Irish D strays off side (outside in particular) and seems to avoid being pinged more often than not. It results in pushing the opponents attacking line deeper and deeper and therefore having to make more and more metres just to beak the gain line. Still if you can get away with it, you can't blame them.
This is called a 'rush defence'. A brilliant new ploy brought down from the northern hemisphere whereby the refs stop enforcing the offside line because who can be bothered with that bullshit anyway?

Well played Ireland. I thought we had you on the ropes at the end there but we couldn't convert. Best team won.

Great game. Genuinely felt sorry for Pocock at the end there.

Ireland has shown some really good defense against Australia. They even shut out Folau for 3 straight tests where he had no big plays to offer.

I can't wait till we play.

Was absolutely nowhere near his bicep or anything. 100% didn't touch him.
I'd disagree on him intending to slap but even if he had. It not an offence unless he actually does.

For mine, even if it did touch him, it went into touch closer to the Irish goal-line than where it was passed from, so it didn't go forward from the Irish player, so not even a knock on anyway.

Agreed I am genuinely excited we have somebody to turn up for
LOL, everyone 'turns up' for us and we don't let them down in giving them a truly challenging game of rugby.

I'll still rate us number 1 but not by much...not much at all in these times.

Serious? Even old Ma'a Nonu, alone, could beat the Irish.

Is that really true though?
