June International Test: New Zealand vs. Wales [2nd Test] (18/06/2016)

I asked do you watch Super Rugby, and you're just happy to flake out. This isn't some casual BBC comment section, or Stuff, NZ Herald or whichever other social median you've come from. This is an actual, the actual, rugby forum.

If you don't watch Super Rugby, why even comment on the AB team? And if you do... Then you know all about Ngatai, and you've just done yourself over trying to look clever.
Trying to look clever? Lol

Do you have to watch Super Rugby to comment on the All Blacks? Of course not..I mean where is this all going? Stupid!

Look I just came on here and I honestly didn't know it was you that made the racist remark but surprise surprise..

Then you insult. Just calm down ffs. Do you want me to say Ngatai is better than SBW? Ok, Ngatai is better than SBW. Happy now? Ffs.

Whose the management around here?

From what I've seen so far, this is typical stuff from the ABs in the June internationals. Mirroring the England series from a while back. Look rusty, close game, and then have a purple patch where they blow the opposition away. I doubt that there is another team in the world who can kill off a team in 10-20 minutes of decent rugby like that.

This is where it's all lost on you here. You comment about SBW. You clearly know zero about Ngatai, you've demonstrated this already. How CAN you talk about who should be selected in the All Blacks if you DON'T watch Super Rugby? Considering the only "league" the selectors pick from is Super Rugby, and people playing IN New Zealand. How could you comment on it, if all you've watched this year is TWO games versus Wales??? Do you see the common ground here? Do you get it?

I called you a clown, because you reckon I'm racist and that is why I suggest there are better options than SBW. Get a clue man. All you've talked about is what SBW did in, was it 35 minutes, off the bench, in one game... But you want proof about Ngatai? Get off it.

Relax guys, end of the day we are kiwis and we love rugby.

For the record though hahaha ................. Ngtai has been not only the standout centre of NZ rugby this year but the stand out centre of super rugby. If Ngtai never got injuried he easily would be starting number 12. SBW has a real presence but Ngati at this stage of his career is the superior player. He would be the fix to the All Blacks backline.

Also for the record Ngtai has already played for the All Blacks against Samoa last year. He is clearly on Hansens radar.

Wales were very brave, showed plenty of heart and NZ very rusty. Frustrating performance from NZ but you have to wonder how much they could blow teams out of the water if they play for 80 mins and not just 15 mins. This is a rebuild time period for NZ and the performances show that. I fear it is possible they could drop one test this year - its at least a 25% chance.

Oh.. Hello, another person that knows what they're actually talking about and watches the games the AB selectors watch.

Ok let's look at your argument here. You have stated that no one that watches Super Rugby should comment on the All Blacks. That is what you said. Freedom of speech or an open forum like this ALLOWS people the FREEDOM to comment on the All Blacks or any other team for that matter. There is no restrictions. Do you understand that? Honestly anyone can comment on the All Blacks. You can even post Ngatai and All Blacks suck, you can say that.

You made a racist remark so my perspective of you being a racist is warranted. Then you insult and IVE NEVER insulted you or made a racist remark towards anyone, THATS the difference. I never called you a clown or a fob.

I've asked for proof regarding Ngatai but you can't provide it so it's just an assumption.

SBW contributed big time to NZs RWC success. Hansen and SBW are obviously close knit so you should get use to him being in black.

How many teams have scored on NZ within 5 minutes of half time? Not very many id think.... MANY more have leaked a try in the period.

Something about NZ looks flat. I feel Fekitoa should maybe of stayed off after his knock..... Issy Dagg.... Good punting but not much else. Ben Smith is a total waste on the wing.

SBW and Ngatai are needed

I never said Ngatai was a bad player. I just think SBWs what's missing from last years All Blacks and that he's needed.

If you like Ngatai, I respect that, it's all good. I won't preach to you, hate on you, call you a clown for beliefs cos that's just getting carried away and would probably need to calm down.

After reviewing my post, this response is not really to your post above which I agree with most of. Sorry lol.

Great idea.

People are in danger of overrating Ngatai IMO. Very good player, but he's injury prone and remember 4 out of 5 tries he scored came vs one team. SBW and Fekitoa would be a better pairing IMO. He would be nice in place of Crotty.

Despite transition, the All Blacks are still playing on a different planet than even their closest rivals. Wales aren't one of them. They just don't beat southern hemisphere teams (home or away) but have an inflated reputation based on their comfort zone of the 6N. About one win over the traditional big three in the last 10 years is proof of that and even when they've been ahead in the later stages of games, they've handed it back to the opposition. Eng, Aus, Ire, SA and Arg are all better than them, probably in that order. They are all show and no go and will lose handsomely again next week.

Only stupid rugby posters, like yourself. Would make such statements without actually following the process that happens to actually make the All Blacks. I've asked you, do you watch Super Rugby? You refused to reply, and instead blabber on about some other drivel. This is literally so stupid. It would be like myself, trying to stipulate who should be playing for England when I don't watch the top English league. That is moronic, and I would be out of my depth. Just like you are right now.

You asked for proof about Ngatai, and I ASKED you if you watched Super Rugby. You did not reply. If you were an avid follower of Super Rugby, like plenty of people on this forum, you wouldn't need me to provide "proof". Practically everything, and everyone, who follows NZ Rugby, knows Ngatai is the key, the future, the starting 12. If you don't watch SR how could you possibly comment? You blabber on about freedom of speech bs, but as I said, this is a rugby forum, and you'll be called out on your inaccuracies and vague opinions on the matter. Which is what you have, and what I have done to you.

And I've been on top of you since you were so inaccurate about Ngatai. What you, yourself, has typed, shows you don't know anything about it. First you said Steve Hansen hadn't picked him, given interest in him, or played him for the All Blacks yet? Which was wrong, as someone pointed out already. And then clearly you didn't even know he was injured with what you typed. Don't come onto here as a teamsheet, or couple games a year watcher... That won't turn out very well for you, seriously.

- I never called you a fob. I called you a clown for saying I'm a racist for not wanting SBW to play because he's "an Islander". Which is about as racist as the word "fob", which you are so caught up on.

Im going to be truthful. I wasn't going to be a Ngatai fan.

After years of being spoilt by Ma'a Nonu I wanted a block busting, rampaging centre in the same build. In my mind Moala was going to be that guy after some of his steam train performances. I had previously watched Ngatai play for Taranaki and while he was solid he never really made me think wow at all. Then I got to the Auckland vs Taranaki game at eden park. In a game where the Ioane brothers were doing freak athletic things the stand out player on the park was Ngatai - he just ozzzed class and was much quicker than I thought.

Then the super rugby season this year started, bang, bang, bang, game after game Ngatai just got better and better and better shredding super rugby sides apart not on strength but on vision, class and an incredible skill set that I haven't witnessed in a backline player since Carlos Spencer. I mean he is a completely different player but his skill set is very very rare and HIGHLY of an All Black standard and quality.

Im convinced that international opposition will be much happy to be lining up against Crotty, Fekitoa and even SBW than against Ngatai. I think he have a considerable impact on the All Blacks decision making and creation on attack. He doesnt look like a superstar but he possibly has the best skill set and vision of any back in NZ rugby currently.

Saying "I'm an Islander" acting all offended, when typically, if you were, you'd say.

"Well, actually, I'm from Samoa, and I find you using "fob" offensive."

NZ - Maori, Tongan, Samoan, White boys, Fijian, Asian - too many alpha males haha - we are one people! dont sweat it guys!

This guy. This guy is literally stating exactly what I've seen.

I mean, ef the Chiefs etc etc. But Ngatai is so obvious for the ABs.

I know but it's stupid when you see racist remarks. There's no excuse for racism. There's no downplaying it. It's just unacceptable.

Look there's posters here in support of SBW. Do you see me being a little kid about it and saying "this guy, he's correct"..no cos I respect people's opinion. Something you struggle to do.
