June International Test: New Zealand vs. Wales [2nd Test] (18/06/2016)

On about a later incident mate! People overstating it imo, Naholo did put his shoulder into him off the ball. Admittedly he was happy enough to go down and get the pen, but wasn't exactly a light impact from Naholo!

There is a bit of a preconception about Liam Williams as well. Can't think of any prior incidents to suggest that he would use underhand tactics  Actually, I think he's calmed down a lot in the last year or so.

After the WC final its SBW all day for me if he's available. Ngatai will be injured more than he plays for the AB's imo. He'll be great but he'll be another Kahui for mine.

Hey what's the policy on racist remarks on here? Is it allowed?

Idk man, I'll pop down the road and ask the club I watched him play for, and ask if my statement is accurate. Practically everyone who knows him and have been watching him for more than two seconds would make that comment.

Why are you telling me to calm down? You clearly don't know what you're talking about. You didn't even know he was injured, so why comment about centre pairings and SBW?
Um did you watch the RWC last year and who was the centres? Did those centres do ANYTHING at all? BOOM!

Show me proof that I didn't know Ngatai was injured? And who cares, he's YET to play. Ffs.

I'm just asking cos it's a racist remark. I just want to know if it's allowed. Cos I know in NZ you say that to an islander and then?? God be with you.

Genuine question anyway.

SBW isn't a 60 minute international player, he's a liability with his no-look offloads, but what else does he bring? Ngatai has got better vision and kicking game than Nonu had.. Why would you take away those intangibles for Money Bill...

I agree. Ngatai is a good player, great attacker, kills SBW at running but we're yet to see him in black.

He is like Kahui come to think of it.

Your overrating Ngatai a tad Nonu ended up being one of the best 12's of all time in his last few season there imo. To compare a guy thats hardly even played a int match to two undeniably great players is a bit of a stretch.

I flat with islanders... There are islanders in my family. I think you're just trying to pin me because I caught you out. Or did you just happened to go back to my previous post from over an hour ago. Lol.

Oh yeah, I've just seen the bit people are on about. Fair enough, it did look like a bit of a dive, but he did get up straight away instead of screaming on the floor, so not the full footballer yet.

??? I listed two things that Ngatai already has over Nonu. Would I take Ngatai over Nonu? No. Would I take SBW over Ngatai? Definitely not.

Its simple Ngatai will be injured more than he plays. He's another Kahui. I live in the bay of plenty and I know the club systems he's come through. Players either come through those systems and they are fine or they come through and their body is on the verge of breaking down. He's teatering on the breaking down side of things like Kahui always was.

People dont realise how big the hits are even in club rugby and such these days.

Hansen is on to it. If he felt Ngatai should be there then yeah but no, not yet anyway. SBW needs to be there.

This is where you showed you didn't know Ngatai was injured.

Because Ngatai was the clear favourite for 12.

Our lineout cost us big time in this match. We messed up a few attacking lineouts, and NZ scored off a couple of others. That combined with our poor recycling speed meant we really struggled to get into the game.

NZ were class in that 20 min spell, and fully deserved the win, and they really did put us under pressure in the rucks.

Thought Jenkins, AWJ, Moriarty, Webb and Williams were superb. Biggar was solid, and nicely set-up Williams' try. I was also quite impressed with Patchell. His timing of the pass was far better than any other Welsh player, always drew the man, and often found players in space on the outside. I'd love to see him tried at 10, maybe after he's had half a season there at the Scarlets.

JD2, was a mixture of good and bad. Carried the ball well, and lovely pass yo AWJ, good try at the end too. But unusually for him, he was caught out ib defense too often. Warbs had his moments, but he's certainly not as busy as he was between 2011-13. This would have been a perfect series for Tips, such a pity he had to miss it!

Owens was great around the field I thought, but his service in the lineout was poor. NZ put great pressure on us there, and that really got to Owens, opting to go short on NZ's line, and a couple of other short ones which didn't work out + a couple of overthrows. How can we not get a decent lineout going with Charteris there? He's rarely used as a jumper which is odd given his height.

All in all, still proud of the effort from the boys. Good to see them fight back in the final 10, showed good spirit there. We might as well make some changes next week. Scott Williams had a plot game vs the Chiefs, but might as well see if he can spark something in midfield. Maybe start with someone other than Biggs as 10 (Anscombe/Priestland/Patchell?). Maybe give Ellis Jenkins a start, possibly leaving Warbs out?

Look I'm new here and I read everyone's post.

Your one is a racist remark. I just want to know if that's acceptable here on this forum. I'll take it up with the management anyway. I'm an islander and to hear that from a NEW ZEALANDER is immature.

Anyway, I like Ngatai but like I said we have to wait and see. I personally hope he goes great. However SBW we've seen him and he had a LOT to do with NZ winning the RWC.

Hansen is a genius regards to how he used Smith and Non and then brought SBW of the bench for impact. And SBW did just that. Awesome coaching.

Agree with a lot this. I'm guessing NZ may try some different combinations, all the more reason to take this last game with a little intent. Think that I'd like to see Scott Williams and JD together, bringing JR on later maybe? Patchell at 10 is a massive risk in this game, particularly as he hasn't played there a lot this season at Cardiff with Anscombe playing very well at ten. I'd keep Biggar there for now and play that card in the autumn internationals.

I wish Gatland had tried Ellis for a little longer than 5 minutes, just so we know if an EJ-SW-TF option was possible, as there would be more speed with those choices.

I didn't even SAY that I knew he was injured lol. I knew he was injured.

Are you part of the All Black selectors? Cos I honestly didn't know he was a CLEAR favourite. Provide some real proof.

I'm all for changes but sadly I don't think it will happen. Gatland will select pretty much the same side in the hope this time we can play for the full 80 and get the win

You're a clown, dude.

I'm going to assume you've only watched SBW for two seconds too, right?

Not the Bulldog days, the French rugby, the Crusaders, then the Chiefs, then back to league to the Roosters, then back to the Chiefs, his attempt at 7s, his terrible boxing career. All of that. Which I have. It would be a terrible day for New Zealand Rugby if Money Bill Williams started for the All Blacks full-time. Especially at 12, which is definitely the wrong position for him if we want to continue being at the top of the rugby world.

Do you watch Super Rugby? Ask anyone else around here. Probably the most sure thing behind the major All Black players.

Racist remarks and insults, wow classy. And assumptions, no proof, just assumptions.

I asked do you watch Super Rugby, and you're just happy to flake out. This isn't some casual BBC comment section, or Stuff, NZ Herald or whichever other social median you've come from. This is an actual, the actual, rugby forum.

If you don't watch Super Rugby, why even comment on the AB team? And if you do... Then you know all about Ngatai, and you've just done yourself over trying to look clever.
