NZ very cleverly doing every thing to slow the Welsh ball down at the breakdown, even if they are cleared out, they are making a nuisance of themselves. I think they are slightly edging the breakdown battle at the moment as their ball is much quicker.

The problem with Wales isn't that try, which seemed a mistake from JD, but JD noticed our defence was very narrow waiting for the pick and drive and had to run out.

It's the fact that when they are in the same position, they won't score.

Looking back at it I can see that. I still think Wales were set too narrow either way!

The Welsh attack appears dire. But the speed of recycling is being slowed so much, its giving NZ time to set the defence and theres no way through.

I also thought he dithered a bit, should have just gone for Dagg and forced him to make the pass. He'd have made it anyway most probably but Amos made it too easy

Good try!

I really like Patchell at 15 just for the extra distributor in the line - you don't get much from the Roberts/JD midfield and having Patchell pop up adds some real width and speed onto the ball.

Barnes was idling up the line and talking to the ref calling his attention to the pass back! If he had not, he would have been running a tad faster to the line out Mark!

How many teams have scored on NZ within 5 minutes of half time? Not very many id think.... MANY more have leaked a try in the period.

Something about NZ looks flat. I feel Fekitoa should maybe of stayed off after his knock..... Issy Dagg.... Good punting but not much else. Ben Smith is a total waste on the wing.
