Japan Megaquake

Total ***s! It's funny how they all fail to mention Hiroshima and Nagasaki isn't it? If you said that to them they probably wouldn't have a clue what you're talking about. They're all just ******* brain washed in history class. Pathetic!

Megatsunami I would call it

that was terrible damn it, I saw apocalypse on TV

I feel sorry for Japan, I like this nation very much

Safe here.

I have fled to Hokkaido, 650 kms from the plant, staying at a friends place. All the foreigners are leaving...

There are some right pr!cks in the world right now

The only positive about these Japan jokes is that we now know (or in some cases backs it up) whose opinion's to ignore, and who to not associate with

'Mon the Japs

Just read on the BBC News, that the British Embassy is suggesting all British Citizens leave From Tokyo and the North of Tokyo if they can.

Also read one scientist quote I don't know any other way to say it, but this is like suicide fighters in a war." when commenting on the people fighting the fire at the plant... They have also now mentioned they are able to work up to more than 1.5 times the recommend maximum, now at 250 millisieverts from 100 millisieverts

Hi, Charles. Good to see you're still posting. Lucky to have a place to stay, I guess.

As far as I can tell the radiation threat is on a knife edge, but at worst it should be limited to a short radius. Heart breaking that so many people are at risk over the failure of systems that could have been improved. And so much may depend on wind direction.

Has the emperor promised to stay in Tokyo?

Thank F**K for that mate! Where were you when it hit if you don't mind me asking?

Its weird but the ONE country you'd think would be breakdancing over Japan's grave hasn't said anything very offensive for once. Good job North Korea!

EDIT: I was watching the Tsunami when it hit on Saturday live on TV at work. Absolutely shocking. The Western media has gone a wee bit OTT on the whole "TRAPPED IN JAPAN" and "NUCLEAR APOCALYPSE" scenarios.

I guess nobody is willing to take a night bus westwards and leave via Osaka or Fukuoka or even by ferry to Korea..yet..Charles whats the transport situation like?

On a nice note the Japanese Society at the University my Girlfriend is at have swung into action and raised £1,000 alone last night. People were just shoving £20 notes into the bucket. Absolutely shocking that there hasn't been a joint DEC appeal.

Those Americans with the idiot comments will be a very small minority, and you can be sure most of them will have nicknames like Cletus, Bubba and Billy-Joe, and will reside on, or come from, the south side of the Mason-Dixon line!

They are best ignored, because to criticise them is to validate them, and acknowledge their existence.
