Italy v Wales, 23/02/13

This commentator is great :) he should do it more
anyone else think this is a really dull game
Halfpenny Motm? And when was the last time he missed a kick

Huw Llewellyn Davies. Does the Welsh commentary for S4C. Did do commentary for the BBC long long time ago.

HAY GUISE did you no that some Welsh players were born in England?!?!?!
Poachers, etc.

Where was the urgency to put more points on the board? It might be crucial come the end of the tournament.

What type of game did people expect in those conditions?

I'll take the win and all, but we did not take advantage of our dominance.

This type of game, doesn't stop it being terrible to watch though.
Thought the same of Ireland v England.

Oh come on, this was better than that shower of the proverbial. Not much better but still better

Funny how many are saying how terrible the match was. The weather dictated how it was going to be played far before kickoff, and it was obvious that it was not going to be a match for the neutrals. Besides, it was better than the England/Ireland game by a good margin and that's saying something.

Happy with the result, a shame we couldn't push on and reflect our dominance on the score board but England just might be getting a little nervy as we get closes to the real 'le crunch'. Gethin absolutely smashed Castro, which was a surprise, but i still don't really understand how the ref is making half of his decisions in the scrum they often seem pretty clueless. And that's not just against the Welsh, it's for the game in general. A bit disappointed at the end that Wales seemed to take the gas off the pedal and didn't have the urgency needed to get those extra points which could be crucial if it does go to the wire.

Hoping for some good weather against Scotland, might see some more tries from both sides, but today was about as good as it was going to get realistically.

Praying for a French win against England, and have a sneaky feeling that it isn't going to be as easy for England as many expect, especially if Farrell doesn't get the chance to kick endless penalties.

p.s Let's just take the Welsh team to Australia and be done with it. :p

The more I think about it the more I don't understand why Wales didn't go for another try towards the end. We were safe of our win, and were attacking in their half, so why did Hook just boot the ball out of play? The gap in points difference between us and England is currently 17, and looking forward to next week that should grow if anything with England at home to Italy and us away to Scotland. I know there's no guarantee we'll beat Scotland away, but I'd say we're odds on. Let's say that the gap grows next week by five (that sounds quite conservative), we'd then have to beat England on the final weekend by ~ 12 points (I think), and that's a huge, huge ask.

Once the game was safe today, we should have pushed for an extra try or two. Disappointed with that!
