Whereas the second rows are concerned, Palmer starting with Shaw and Lawes on the bench (ease him back into it like Croft). I've really liked the impact and intensity Shaw has brought onto the field with him, and I reckon this could counteract englands slow start.

was just listening to declan's selection reasons and on the subject of Paddy Wallace he actually thought he played well last weekend :huh: he also goes on about the adaptability and combinations for reasons he picks certain players. i personally think he sounds like he's avoiding an explanation for why the form players aren't being picked.

He is absolutely clueless. He actually said "I didn't pick Johnathan (Sexton) for any specific reason just that I felt like a wanted to give him a game."

Thats a crap reason to select a player. He doesn't care about form and I cannot believe Wallace is still on the bench.
