Ireland 'A' v Tonga

this was was played by ireland in ireland not GB.ONLY the irish anthem should be played for an irish team if the game is played in the 6 occupied counties or in the 26 free counties. :p[/b]
I hope that's sarcasm. In one sense you're correct - Northern Ireland isn't part of Great Britain, it's actually part of the United Kingdom of GB & NI!

Why can proper British (as in mainland) not vote on this??!! I mean, how many of us actually want Northern Ireland in our country? It's all about our island - Great Britain. Ireland should be unified and independent. We're either the British Isles or Great Britain. I hate the pointless compromise we have at the moment.

On to rugby - I'd be very disappointed if I were Tongan. Samoa competed well with a Wales 1st XV. Fiji must expect to at least compete with Scotland. Yet Tonga got stuffed by Ireland A?? Poor show.

To be fair, i dont think this is the best squad Tonga could field. If this were a world cup year they would put up more of a show

We don't want them either, they'd cripple our economy even more than is currently the case!

Yeah this isn't the 20's anymore. Northern Ireland has gone from being sought by both parties to being a chore that no one wants to deal with really. No offence to any lads from up north by the way.

I wzs sarcastis there but I know that some players like P.Wallace,Bowe and Ferris consider themselves as Irish
