The IRB World Championships have started today.

If you live outside of the UK, Ireland, and New Zealand, you can watch a couple of games today, via a free feed on the IRB site www.irb.com

The live games shown at these times (Italian times)

1810: Argentina v Wales (being played now)
2010: Italy v New Zealand

Scotland did much better this year against SA than previous, given the teams results this year I expected SA to go all out for triple figures. A lot of commitment on show

The under-20s are still sh*te though, I know a 17-year Scot that would look world class in this side, need to give whoever the coach is a ring

Better look at SA U/20 Team; not the Best start against Scotland despite a 33-0 scoreline to The Baby Boks. Too many errors. Time to get it all the small things right though; certainly a very physical Side which is good to see. Last Year the Side was not as Big as we would expect from a SA Side. Not Sure that all these Stats are 100% Correct...did get it off the IRB website:) Always a few mistakes.

C'mon the boys, rip the English apart B)

They got nothing on you!

England really don't deserve this, the only reason why they have scored is because they have black players
This scoreline flatters them to the ends of the earth.

Good performance by the young Scots, lots of things didn't go their way today, but they kept at it.

Now to smash the Paddies

Come again?

Bit of casual racism there....

Eng 39 - 18 Scot, for those who didn't see it

Come again?

And we don't :(

Only two of ours backs could be said to have some form of decent pace, but they were both hopelessly outsprinted very easily by Wade and (Hmm, name will come later), and all but one of Englands tries were down to these two ripping us apart with sheer pace. I realise why most would call this racist, but imo if those wings were anglo-saxon, England would not have scored those tries.

South Africa 42 - 26 Ireland

Good game with some excellent tries. Ireland lost it mainly because of poor kicking and the lineout.

Thats a stupid statement.

Now to smash the Paddies

Thats even more stupid! ;)

Saw the first 1/2 of the Ire vs SA game. Some good rugby but for the most part what you'd expect from inexperienced players (not that I'd do nearly as well in that position, mind you). A couple of players from both teams look like good prospects. Etzebeth and Conway standing out for me.

Saw the scoreline as well of the NZ vs Wales match o_O

Just silly. I know the style of NZ is particularly suited to the type of rugby we see in these u20 games and the defenses aren't there like they would be in senior rugby but still, seriously... 92-0.... Are NZ unstoppable or will the likes of Aus, Eng and SA at last be a speed bump? It looks like the entire team got on the scoreboard LOL.

That's quite a scoring list!

Whatever it's worth, the Baby Blacks rule this competition. Otherwise, the matches are great viewing on a summer's eve.

Your opinion needs revision if you fancy waving it around. "Anglo-saxon", honestly!

The semi finals are: Australia vs New Zealand and England vs France. South Africa miss out. I'm gueasing that Australia rested some players and that is why they lost to France? They have looked far better than France in this tournament.

Australia was at full strength vs France.

You're guessing wrong but you're arrogant.

Oz were at full strength against France, indirect comparison are always misleading, only direct games are meaningfull and on the day France was miles better.

Ignorant not arrogant. Well done to France then.

Dissapointed with Baby Boks; so much talent, but they just coudn't get the game together. Also, Skosan literally stuffed up 3 try scoring oppotunities. Can't believe Mbovane was not picked in his place. Poor selections made by the coach, Dawie Theron. Schonert should have started at 3; Jordaan and Mbovane should have been starting on the wings. Beyers should have been at Fullback; useless Lions player, Taute was Crap!!

Too much muscle not enough skill perhaps? :p

I'm happy that Ireland get a chance to play South Africa again rather than Wales or Fiji. Not to be disrespectful to Wales or Fiji but SA are far better than either of those two. In my opinion age grade rugby is about identifying individuals who can make it rather than being about results and as such, I'd rather see Ireland tested against better teams. Some players like Andrew Conway were identified as superb talents a long time ago and this tournament has merely confirmed it while others like Tadhg Furlong have emerged as excellent talents based on how they've stepped up against good teams.
