Investec Champions Cup 23/24 - Rd 3

Would love to see Ahern and Baird in the same second row against some tier 2 nation, utterly demoralise them seeing both locks outpacing their backs.

We control our own destiny again. And crazy is we can still get a home last 16

Great win. Dominated that game for the most part despite an imo shite ref.

Crowley and Ahern the pick of the bunch for sure! Ahern is an absolute freakish athlete.

Scans brilliant for first game and Hodnett and Coombes in the backrow were heartbeat too

Yeah Scannell did make a huge difference. Lineout was an entirely different beast and our scrum was solid. Hodnett could have had motm mentions as well. Leave Coombes and Ahern at 8 and SR respectively for me and we will fly it.

What do we need from the Northampton game now?

Not a Bris fan but feel for them, pretty unjustified yc for that particularly scum later resulting in 13 men, IMHO even when pens are fairly conceded simply getting rewarded pens off the back of a dominant scrum should be enough YCs should rarely be a thing.

From here I'm being told we need a 5point win vs Saints and Exeter to get nothing away.
More our focus is win and guaranteed 3rd. We won't fear the road and no injuries today but plenty coming back in the next few weeks

Just watched the Chiefs game! My Jebus that was stressful.

Most disappointed about the Windrush disallowed try, not because it was disallowed but because Pearsons kick was perfect ;)

Couple of times i felt knees were on floor then maul was called which annoyed me.

Finally im glad the right decision was made at the end.

Enjoyed that and so happy for the win and effort we put in.

Looks like we've carried on where we left off last week
Only been in stormers half twice: one we have a penalty away from kickoff, the other we had a lineout and lifted way before the ball was thrown in and then just threw it over everyone directly to a stormers player

Just gash

Thought Sale should have had a penalty at the maul for in at the side, but that was so slow from Du Preez to kick.

Hill made more metres there than the rest of the team combined
Lovely pass from Rob

Sale really needed that. Give them something to build on.
