Even fit though there's no logic in pairing 2 players together who can't stand each other, it's an either/or decision not both.

Cant Disagree with much of them An Tarbh. I think you may see Lewsey there aswell. Ive just got a weird feeling a wasp contingency will be present. Like Cipriani and Lewsey. Cipriani couldnt make it to the England team so god help us if he makes it to the lions...

meant to put Cipriani in at 10, still think he'll tour and should then play himself into the test side if he shows any form.

Utility Backs
Hook
Cipriani[/b]

Hook yes, but I couldn't agree with Cribiani as a Utility back. There're far better utility players available. Being from Munster (and having again witnessed his ALL ENCOMPASSING power again at the weekend) I'd say Earls ahead of him, wouldn't mind seeing Lewsey there, I can see Jamie Roberts playing anywhere from 11-15.

I'd even say Flood ahead of Cribiani at this stage.

edit: And lets not forget the faultless Barry Murphy.

If there's any justice in the world then Danny Cipriani won't go on the tour at all.

Unless he comes and plays a blinder, which I doubt, then all will be forgiven.

I think the fly halves will/should be (unless Wilko comes back) Jones, O'Gara and perhaps Hook.

he's not played international rugby in over a year, McGeechan said he wouldn't be taking any players who were half fit or coming back from injury with little game time under their belt, sadly for the pair of them that's the case with Wilkinson and Henson.

Makes no sense at all taking half a touring party full of Welsh players who couldn't even get into a side that came 4th in the 6 Nations.

You might as well take half a touring party full of Wasps players that came 10th in the GP...

You guys really think Cipriani is gonna make the tour? I think it would be a huge mistake to field him against the Springboks, or am i wrong? Has he even ever played in South Africa?

there'll be plenty who haven't played in SA that's hardly going to be used against him.

Exactly

I pick my selection on players who i think are gifted and intelligent in their decision

Hense Gavin Evans, best option if Henson doesnt go.

If both BOD and Henson were fit i would be basing a team around Henson over BOD.

Henson is that good.

But even if he scrapes through this injury with enough time to make the last rounds of the heineken cup with the ospreys, then i would be surprised if he hit form quick enough to be taken as a safe bet.

Then again all the world top coaches rate him so highly that i wouldnt be very surprised if the Coaches make an exception to their injured players rule and select him.

my theory on that previous statement is that in Wales we all understand that Gatland, Howley and Edwards will sell their grandmothers, mothers sisters, wives and kids willingly and cheaply to be able to pick a fit Gavin Henson. And to be honest i would say that most people who have watched him since he started playing at swansea as a 16 year old would definatly agree.

I think the idea is to select the players for a squad that would be most likely to beat the Bokks.

I cant really comment much more on what you wrote, as your statement is really just another reflection of your intellect.

thought one of you would notice...! ha ha ha...! we'll see... i certainly dont expect to win at Thormund Park but i know we definatly can.

If anything i think its fair to say the ospreys really deserve a bit of luck, they have had very little this year, with injuries etc, and the miracle of becoming a great team over night and beating munster and going on towards the final is not just a dream it is a possibility, but we need our luck to change.

Even though after the Ulster match it really may seem like we need a miracle.

ha ha ha

you've got Wayne Barnes on Sunday which is a start and tis an appropriate time of year for miracles.
