It may be the correct thing to do, I am not sure though, but it is very sad for him and Ireland that Marshall has been dropped for Ruan after such a great game last week.......................

Team named the bad news Ferris hasn't made it ffs. However Henderson stays at 6 and Williams comes in at 8 should be enough for Glasgow. Hopefully Fez'll be back soon.

Glasgow: S Hogg; B McGuigan, P Murchie, P Horne, A Dunbar; R Jackson, H Pyrgos; R Grant, D Hall, M Cusack, T Ryder, A Kellock ©, J Strauss, C Fusaro, R Wilson. Replacements â€" F Gilles, O Fainga’ anuku, G Reid, T Swinson, R Harley, J Barclay, S Wight, N Matawalu

Ulster:
J Payne; T Bowe, D Cave, P Wallace, A Trimble; P Jackson, R Pienaar: T Court, R Best, J Afoa, J Muller (c), D Tuohy, I Henderson, C Henry, N Williams. Replacements: R Herring, C Black, A Macklin, L Stevenson, M McComish, P Marshall, L Marshall, C Gilroy.

It is sad news for Small Paul, but probably the right call. In Anscombe we trust right now.

I'm surprisingly unbothered about Fez too - which I think says more about Babyface Henderson than anything else.

i still get shocked when I hear Henderson has only played 4 games for ulster 1st lol

Chris Henry is playing incredible I think that's two turnovers and held up the maul for a scrum twice

Edit: Add a try to that

It wasn't pretty but we got it done, I'll take 4 points away at Glasgow anyday of the week. Happy to hear Northampton got beat as well because that puts us in a good position.

Ulster played the conditions very well. They pinned Glasgow back, especially in the second half.

Special mentions to:
Best- had a cracking game (made up for last week). He was solid in the line out and carried strongly. He really clears the scraps up well and is in the centre of the breakdown competing for possession. He was rightfully MOTM
Henry- really good at the breakdown and got a try to cap it off!
Pienaar- justified his selection and pinned Glasgow back well.
Jackson- continues to develop and tackled like a back rower. It was good for him to play a game like this, that may not be considered as his style.

It must still be said that there are concerns.... Little mistakes are still creeping in and ruining attacks. The scrum was also pretty weak today!

This could be a very important win and they managed it very well.
