Heineken Cup 2013/14 Pool 3, Round 2

He can be a "great" player but is too inconsistent for me to really be called one but we do have differences of opinion do we not!!

Incidentally, I do rate James much higher than ROG but he has had some bad moments too...

McAlister was more consistent as a 12. I think he would have got many more caps there for virtually every nation but dimly gifted his place to Nonu.

Yes, James has had his nightmares but they have stuck on him more. The only one that stuck on ROG was the Lions and even that was seen as a one off worst day, James has been stuck with his worst day as defining his whole career. If people had cherry picked James' career and labelled him as the king under pressure (like they do ROG), then I would note that too, but they have done the opposite. I saw a Dean Ryan article the other day lambasting him whilst claiming Skrela and Michalak were top fly halves. Laughable.

Ah yes, the old 'lying' tactic. Most people's first thought of Rog around here is the second Lions test in 09'. Get a real grievance to moan about.

Unfortunately the only "lying tactic" here is in this statement. Not very aware of your countrymen's delusions are you? I've seen exactly what the majority of Irishmen think, they aren't as objective as yourself.

Agreed....never worked that one out!

Plus 60k attendance record for Group game in UK

Stupid by Johnstone!
They manage to turnover Binny, and then Johnstone picks the ball at the back of the ruck and just holds it out with one handing waiting for the 9 to grab it, without realising there was no one there, they were lining up to the right to have another charge

Whhhaaattt? That's a penalty and yellow card for Farrell, not a penalty against Toulouse!
Farrell was never supporting his weight, he went straight onto his hands (feet literally off the floor) then was kneeling on the players afterwards.

Took a survey did you? Or do you think you know the opinions of more than half of the people in Ireland?

Or could it be that you're basing your opinion off the comments of casual fans and 14 year olds on youtube who don't follow the game and are the same people who were calling for JW to play for England for the last 10 years regardless of form.

We get it, you don't like Irish rugby. At this stage it's tiresome. Your trying to jump on the Irish game and goad Irish users on here into an argument at every time comes across as extremely brattish. Cop on.

Can we snip the ROG arguing in the bud please guys, its been done many times before and its not exactly on topic for this game/thread.

Case in point, ST try to be all incredible hulk for ten phases and Owen Farrell comes in after all that rope a dope like Ali and BAM! Turnover penalty!

The prosecution rests m'lud.

For stupid to say that rugby isn't a popular sport. Yeah baby! I love rugby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Personally think Owens' reffing of the breakdown has been very one-sided. Several times I've thought Toulouse had their hands on the ball first only to be told to remove it, several times Sarries have gone straight off their feet and been allowed to compete.

Chickens, eggs, counting, etc.

Still, Saracens are defending well. Toulouse really needed to put some points up on the board in the last 15 minutes.

Great defence from Sarries and clever too...............Not sure how ST get back into this other than a piece of magic!

Its almost like the Toulouse forwards have decided they'll do all the work to try to get back in this. We've hardly seen their backs make even close to a line break this half.

Hasn't been Nige's greatest game, unfortunately - goes both ways though, he missed a big off the ball tackle earlier on: Toulouse #13 went flying in and smashed a dummy runner

£5 for many, many tickets against £80 for a 20/20 game in Aus....which is the better value!!!!

Ugh, Toulouse look so slow in attack. Maybe it's the lack of atmosphere in the ground (seems bloody dead, as you'd expect from a two thirds full stadium with a lot of non-fans there) but there seems to be no urgency to their play at the moment.

Toulouse is a very predictable team. They should play more with their backline and make better plays, they have players to play better.

Now then, here we go.

Were Sarries trying to wheel that? Very dangerous tactic that close to your line. Much less distance for the number 8 to cover off that back of the scrum.

This should make for an interesting final 10.
