He certainly deserved a red for that though............think that Leinster are making heavy work of it really!

Dirty bstart.

Walking off the pitch he had the look of a man already recriminating himself for his own stupidity rather than a man in disbelief at the referee's decision.

I agree but interesting to see how the ensuing ban is going to finish a day before the first 6N game this time!!

Blatant red card, intent or not, feet made contact with the head (more than once) and that classes as a red. Ospreys putting up a fight with 14 but you sense it's a matter of time.

haha... he got 8 weeks for the stamp, but then got 2 weeks taken off for pleading guilty, 2 weeks taken off for a previously good record, 2 weeks for wearing a nice suit at the hearing and a further week off due to offering to clean the cars of the presiding officers before they went home...

Well, its kinda hard not to know what your stamping on by feeling it through your feet. He went back for seconds which sealed it.

Anyone else think that Heaslip has been very poor tonight? Guilty of to many mistakes and slipping off tackles. But great maul from Leinster for their try. Moore did really well there, doubt Mike Ross would of been able to do it. But Gopperth should of dived

This is where Leinster should be even with a full opposition.......they are a MILES better team than the Ospreys can even aspire to!

They should now look to blaze away and give the full house a great second half!

Leo Cullen is a big down grade from McCarthy. I wonder who will come in for him next year. Quinn Roux? Fitzy looking really sharp tonight and Ruddock is really starting to impose himself. Maybe trying to lay down the marker for Ireland team?

I know it was odds on that this game would see this sort of score but that red ruined this game as a contest. Ospreys have found themselves on the back foot since that moment. It's been pretty dull since ht in general.

Heaslip had a much better second half but Ruddock outshined him. Healy and Toner were great, as said by sky sports. Cronin played very well and good to see Strauss back. Jennings was very poor I thought, got bumped off too often. Murphy looked very good when he came on, but it was against a tiring and outnumbered pack. Backs were ok but didn't really do much, definitely not as slick with Gopperth is playing 10 compared to Sexton. Madigan played very well when he came on, I'd pick him for quarter final

Really?

I thought him quite ineffective. Too interested in showing off his skillset rather than actually doing what was the best thing to do.

Personally I thought he brought an energy to the game and hit the line at pace. I also think he has a much more accurate passing game to Gopperth and this is imperative to Leinster back play. I think his service play would get him the nod but that's just me, and I'd rather see him playing from an national point of view.

Best moment of the game was the ovation for Richardt Strauss on his return. Apart from that, Leinster made hard work of it. Their passing was sloppy at times.

Puts sport in perspective but again credit must go to Strauss as he must've worked hard to get back and thankfully he got the worst over him now.
Still hard to see Leinster get a home QF

What a bloody idiot. Was hoping Evans had put that side of his game behind him, as he's been extremely impressive in play the last few years.

Ah well, maybe Wales will get lucky and we'll have the same 'panel' as Horwill had?
