Healy wins appeal

In fairness I think majority of Irish accept it a joke he got such lenient ban. I expected a 6 week ban originally. But to state the appeals committee yesterday could not extend or decrease ban. They could only act on when ban started as IRFU didn't appeal the length but more so the starting date.
I think this is possibly an area that could be argued that games as opposed to time should be ban issue

If it was a ban relating to the 6 nations, it should have "rest periods" to match the tournament. It's a farce of epic proportion.

Agreed and IRFU argued that he "sat out" the Treviso game when everyone knew Healy was never playing that game. Realistically Healy got a 1 game and it protected his Lions chances in a way as he wasn't associated with that muck.

I agree that bans should be enforced on a match number basis rather than time, but that the ban should cover all games in all tournaments.
So if he got a two match ban in the 6N he can't play in any games in any tournaments or otherwise at all until the end of the next two matches in the 6N.
We all know that in this case for example, Healy would not be playing for Leinster during the 6N at all.
