HB STUDIOS Q&A vol. 3

Can't see why not. HB are an American company for starters. The UK, Australia and New Zealand may be where Rugby is most Popular but hardly the largest of populations. Its not like they have to translate anything either, you might just get British commentators or something.

Places like Japan are the sort of countries I expect to get left out

Don't forget the Springboks they love their rugby. Don't know about Japan they have a bit of a Rugby fan base could be strong enough for a translated version, they're also gaming mad.

Great Idea for Goal Kicking:

Left analog to set direction - e.g hold it in desired direction

Right analog to set power - (Like on Tiger Woods) Pull Back and flick forwards

Didn't forget them, but never thought of them as a massive gaming country. And I didn't want to name every top international Rugby team, would of dragged on a bit lol.

I would love it if they implemented a manager mode like a world league or something like in FIFA11.

guys please get the licensing sorted...we all want a great game we wont get tired of qiuck

Does anyone at TRF have any idea when the next Q&A's might be... I thought that there might've been one by now, cheers

Will be interesting to see who shows screenies/Footage first. My guess is HB will show footage first.

I reckon Sidhe, they dont seem to have the licensing issues at the moment.

To be honest this interview sucks. Every question was answered with either "no", "we are focussing on the core element" (whatever the fk this is), and "it will be like previous rugby games".

If this is the case why wouldnt I keep playing Rugby 08???

Is this the only rugby game in development?? Who made challenge rugby?? if licencing is an issue for team crests i hope the either do a better effort at making their own original ones or at least use the old generic provincial crests like the 3 crowns for munster or the plain gold harp on a green background for leinster no licence required

I think it was swordfish that made Rugby world cup and challenge 06. Pretty poor in comparison and don't think they exist any more. Probably bought out.
