Has any team ever failed to score a single try in the 6 Nations? or is this yet another unwanted ***le Scotland are about to pick up? (I am seriously doubting wether we will even get close in the remainder of the season)

I was wondering this earlier. I suppose you'd have to go further back than the Six Nations to find an example.

I doubt Scotland will make it 5/5 without tries though. I think they might score one at some point against Ireland.

well it's been 3 years since they've scored against us in the Championship so they're certainly due.

Scotland has always had talented, passionate and patriotic players, but they never seem to make it as a team in the six nations or world cup apaprt from the occasional times they manage to beat the other tier one nations. doesnt look like they'll score many tries this year

Well we only scored 4 in the 2004 six nations, that the lowest i can think of. Usually at some point in the championship we have a couple of games where we score 2 or 3 tries, i cant see that this year but even with us being so appauling we have had some great chances to score.

:lol: I remember that, he dropped the ball over the line. France won something like 25-0 though so it wasnt the end of the world but it sure was funny.

My guess is Scotland might score one against Ireland. Wales didn't score a try against Ireland or Scotland last year, but scored 3 against France (still lost, even though they outscored France 3 - 2 on try count), so wouldn't eb surprised if it's third time lucky for the Scots as well.

i reckon there was a time in the old 4/5 nations where no-one scored a try, I think that Scotland will score a try against another team, there's always England to rely on. In the first few minutes of the France game, the Scottish players were completely comitted to the cause
