Gym

One week off really isn't that big of a deal - just consider it active recovery (if you keep active) or giving your body a rest (if you don't).
You're not going to lose all strength/gains because of a few days away from the gym.

Unless you spend those days unable to eat or vomiting. You'll probably lose some then. Gods knows I did.

Based on what I've been reading, I think I'm going to alternate workouts - one full weight session, one session at half-weight, based on some stuff I've been reading which I'll detail when I'm not half-asleep. This assumes when I go to see a Physio, they don't say something crap like "No weights for you".

What the f**k? No one got nothing to report.

Mindyou, I don't. I've just been doing fitness. yay...

Ignoring the off topic above.....

Had to sack in gym for the past two weeks because my membership ran out at the end of the month and I can't afford to renew until next week :(
Was making great progress as well. Going to use the time off to do a bit of running as I can't remember the last time I went for a run, just been rowing for fitness recently.

Epke Zonderland won the gold medal in gymnastics today...

Played.

Now, real news.

I have, women, pretty ones doing kinky stuff on the treadmills (think they call it jogging?)

Anyway in all my exercises I've been doing 3x8 (3 sets 8 reps) going heavier each set, is that a good way to do it or is there an even better way? (oh and thanks for that exercise you showed me Olyy, feels like my shoulders are going to fall off, means it's working :D )

and how would I go about picking up those wimmin

Managed to buy gym membership earlier in the week - only been once due to other crap going on (job interviews, helping people move house and general laziness) but this girl in there, sheeeeeeesh.

Whoever decided that putting the treadmills opposite the weights benches was a madman/genius, because it was very...distracting.

Really want to start getting in to a routine again, so trying to get in tomorrow after my interview.

I started doing "circuits" today on the advise of the gym-MOT man yesterday - I.E. rush from one weight machine to the next without the rest periods to keep cardio up.

Long story short, I'm totally bolloxed this evening.

I havent started anything or done much tbh since around May :/ no point buying gym memberships for at home as only here for 3 months and havent had the time to go for a run etc, have done minor weights to be fair.. Joining the gym again around the 17th to renew for the year (£80 at uni gym ftw) then start up again asap as want to make some progress generally loosing weight.. want to get down to 13.5 stone - 14 (from 14.5-15 currently) and also want to bulk out a bit (after the cutting body fat down and weight down a bit is done)

That won't happen. You bulk out and you'll put on weight. To give you an idea, my BMI has gone up, my hip/waist ration down and I've put on about 5lbs. In much better shape for it now.

I've Had to take a week or two off the gym for now due to a ****ed up shoulder from coming a series of ****ed up events on it...First a heavy shot dropping me on it...then it hurt massively when shoulder pressing and then a whopper lump of scaffolding fell on it..

as a result I decided to cut for the time period and looking a nice bit leaner for it

Yeah I'm aware you cant cut and bulk at the same time, thats why I'm aiming to drop the weight then start bulking, I know it will just put most of it back on but I'd have a better base to work with than I currently do.

Hahaha top class.

Got the all clear today by physio to resume lifting them heavy ass weights and ****ing **** up on field.

However , I'm going to be a **** and wear something flamboyant for Halloween...And the idea I have in mind I'd like to be at my most cut..however With the free gym access available to me the words BULK BULK BULK however are all that I can hear...

Torn..between Vanity and more Vanity at a later date..

Also, there is such thing as a "clean bulk" which is adding muscle mass with minimal/no fat gain. It's just very hard and very slow (kind of like how your mom likes it).

p.s. cheap booze + trf are a match made in heaven.
