did you watch the game? sarries are now contending for relagation....come on leeds!
C'mon, stop f***ing about.

You either support Leeds or Wasps. Make your mind up.

That was the first time I have been depressed by Jonny Howard's performance. His attention around the fringes of the scrum etc was not acceptable.

Apart from that, Saints shot themselves in the foot a few times when they should of really won that game alot more comfortably.

Glad to get the points in the end, and I wouldn't like to end a game in that way ever again!

Moved up to 9th now and looks alot better, come on you saints!

Have you not watched him before then? Seeing him come off the bench depresses me most weeks.

Nearly lost us the game, firstly with a shocking pass, and then by failing to get the ball out of a maul quickly.

Had Ross got the conversion and we lost, Howard should have been lynched.

Bring back Billy Fulton...

And if Clarke doesn't win a full England cap before the World Cup in 2007, Andy Robinson should be shot. The man's a machine!

im not messin about, if leeds played wasps id want wasps to win but if leeds played anyone else id want them to win. ur not the boss of me.

Jonny Howard usually plays a bit better than that!?!?!

And JC really deserves to be in the RWC come next year, it would be a Greek tragedy if he misses out.

sarries really need to get their act together and start winning games because at the moment it doesnt really look like we can beat anybody but with the introduction of andy farrell in the next month hopefully and cobus visagie, castaignede and haughton all coming back from injury i hope its not too late for us to save ourselves from a relegation battle

and this is the current form table over the last 5 games

Newcastle..........W4.....L1.....16 points
Northampton......W3.....L2.....13 points
Bristol................W3.....L2.....11 points
Leeds.................W2.....L3.....10 points
Bath...................W2.....L3......10 points
Sarries...............W0..... L5.......3 points

We've got him now. Signed him as cover for Martyn Wood after his infamous trampoline accident. Hasn't featured for us yet though.

I know. It's annoying when you see Jonny Howard, the man who we kept instead, cocking up like he did yesterday.

Fulton wouldn't stay because he refused to spend his whole career as Sharkys understudy.

To be honest, Sharky is a very valuable player, same as CS. If they got injured we wouldn't have any replacements that come near as class as them.

But talent such as Luke Myring coming through, will be handy.

I was at the Bris vs wors game. They played the ref well and got lucky but all credit to them they played well.Brian lima is ok it says on the site he will be back for the leeds game that is a must win for us.

Howard does annoy me, he's been around for a long time and always underperformed. I remember the good days when we had a half good backup scrum half (Dom Malone was reasonably solid as I remember it). But it's an area we should look into.

Agreed. We always used to have a solid understudy to Dawson in the likes of Malone and Vass. Howard only seems to turn up with his brain occasionally, and if he hadn't come up through the academy I think he would have gone by now.

As we return to the GP this weekend, what do you think of our chances of beating Wasp's?

:p

Greater than usual, considering they will be missing...

Lewsey
Voyce
Dallaglio
Dawson
Shaw
O'Connor
Redden

And possibly/hopefully...

Abbott
Erinle
Sackey

And mabye some I've forgotten about.

wasps have got the most players in england then any othe side in the premiership and the wasps A team is bottom of its league so its very likely northampton will win.

Taione punished with 18-week ban

Centre Taione joined Sale from Newcastle last summer
Sale's Epi Taione has been banned for 18 weeks after pleading guilty to biting Munster and Ireland flanker Denis Leamy in a Heineken Cup match.
The Tongan winger was cited following the Sharks' defeat at Thomond Park, Limerick, on January 21.

He appeared before an independent disciplinary committee in London on Monday which issued the suspension.

Taione will miss the rest of the current season and will be unable to play again until Monday, 12 June.
