France vs Scotland - 16/03/2013

Gotcha.....BBC or whatever. Look forward to seeing that happen then!

Great counter from Hogg.

Laidlaw is a classy guy, too - would deffo be my first choice 9 for the Lions.

Hogg and Laidlaw look great, right in there for Lions.

I've suddenly reminded myself of how torrid Scotland's back three used to be.
Who was the bald winger that wore a scrum cap. Dour as ****.

Very good 9, does everything well without any ego/reputation. Lions starter? Possibly, not a nailed on starter at 9 but deffo in the mix

For ...'s sake will no one rid me of that arse Michalak................he is awful AGAN. The last pass he made of no moe than 10 yards made the recipient jump to catch it and finsihed a possible break out and that is him all over in just one example...................

Aye.
For me he's definitely a starter, but I can see Gatland having Phillips, Murray (I think those two will be the test two - Gatland likes 'em big) and Youngs ahead of him.

I hope Murray gets nowhere near the Lions team, I've never rated him. Phillips is better than Murray at being the physical 9 and you dont really need 2 of them. Its between Phillips and Youngs atm as starter but I think Laidlaw is the better kicker of all 3, certainly better than Youngs who he's directly against.

France are really pushing hard for the spoon...you can see they want it badly!!!

Maybe they have a bouillabaisse to stir and have run out of cutlery

France sucks. a fly-half or scrum-half can have a big influence on the game, Michalak has been a disaster so far in the tournament no doubt, and then there's the coach. He guides players, gives them insight, tells them great anecdotes, and of course, a part from just the mental influence a coach has a MOTHERFKKIN GAMEPLAN you know...

Wtvr it is, France sucks. I just understood it now. Whether we win this wretched thing, heck, whether we'd won the game in Italy and Twickenham or wtvr I'd say the exact same thing. Winning a game doesn't mean you're good; if we'd played exactly like THIS but won those previous games, same ****, we're the same level...but we win games. We suck. Ass.
Trailing 6-0 at home in Paris against Scotland, are you fkn kidding me ? Surely you're kidding me. But it ain't funny. It's sad at this point.

What the hell would we be doing without our extra-talented guys ? What if we didn't have Picamoles and Bastareaud to pierce holes constantly ? Fofana to score a try on his own, ffs ? What if we had a regular team without big names, wtf would we rely on ? Our scrum ?! It's not even dominating as it should tonight (even though to be fair it's been HUGE before, in Rome and Twickenham and strong against Wales even with Forrestier...).

This isn't French Rugby. This is survival rugby and waiting for one of our extra-talented big names to shine and get points on the board from that.
Something BIG has got to change, I'm afraid it's PSA, but I'm not sure and don't want to jump on that bandwagon...

Something is horribly wrong with us, I thought with each game, as the entire world, that we'd see France dominate all of a sudden and play some champagne rugby again, show some flair, class, quality...consistency in the game. Nothing.
We'll get annihilated this summer in NZ if we don't radically change that "thing" hindering us...Michalak ? coach ? again, not sure...but we have the talent to DOMINATE, just no game plan. Cruel times...
If we get the Wooden Spoon, it's deservedly so, I won't feel any shame. Because I've seen how bad we are, so it's fine. It's not like we played great games but came so close or wtvr. Our level globally is a joke.

Michalak could've been carded several times during that scuffle - red cards at that.
Lucky that they can't(? don't?) use the TMO in the 6N for that.

Michalak absolutely lost it 5 a few mins ago. How did one of the officials not pick that up? Owens has to look at everything else, but what are the assistants doing?

I'm sure Weir thanked Laidlaw for that back pass under pressure!

Sorry...went to sleep there...has Para been taken off but Michalak left on or was Parra injured?

Parra didn't come out after halftime, they didn't mention why.

Hogg's got some balls on him, Ashton would've **** himself with Debaty running at him full charge
Would've been such an easy pass for a simple run in for Clerc but he tried to bump off Hogg instead
