France v Wales, 09/02/13

Picamoles was so far off side that he should have had a red shirt.........Clancey is certainly consistent, consistently bad!

Both sides need to get their heads out of their arses and the score could be 15 plus each.......great defence on both sides but being assisted by wrong options!!

What a snorefest so far. That might be good for Wales, because the crowd is starting to get a little annoyed, and they will take it out on the French team. Gotta come out in the second half like we did last week. This game is there for the taking. Someone just needs to take the game by the scruff of the neck.

Thats why I like French crowd... Booing France after 1st half and quite right. Machenaud STARTING scrum-half? France forwards make hard work and ball is not sent by Machenaud to backs. No control whatsoever. Hughet is not full-back, so he makes defence vulnarable.

Woodward reckons Welsh half backs "shaded" the French.............ridiculous, they thumped them and both Phillips and Biggar having great games. If France had them, the French would be winning!

I do not agree that is it is boring, i am enjoying it with only the reservations about Clancey......

Is Gabby Logan getting better looking or what!!

zzzzzzzzzz....
but yeh, the game is just there waiting to be taken by one side...I think a try will totally open up this match like Rocco sticking his dick out of.....uhmm...well, yeh I think a try will totally open this match up.

Better if Trin Duc went to 10 and Michalak to 15.......................I fear the worse now!

Machenaud is probably blind. France have advantage on right and he passes to Trin-Duc for drop goal...

Great defence from Wales made easier by Michalak being so far behind gain line (scared of contact....surely not?) but Biggar was on the gorund when he turned that over and Wales get the scrum?!!

Not setting the world alight this game. It is a fascinating battle though.

Still worried that Wales seem unable to hold possession or break the gain line consistently. Which defence will tire first?

I'd change Michalak by Parra as now France are lacking fly-half. Trin-Duc should remain in full-back as no other options is available.

Parra on but not for Michalak!! Selection willl be good to see for a fortnight to see if PSA has any brains because I know that Lagisquet does not!!

Wft was that from Phillips?

Welsh scrum has been under pressure all game and it's costing us some field position. Maybe time for Paul James to come on to see if he can make a difference, not that the scrum is Gethin's fault, in fact Adam has been under pressure as well.

Are we going to see any creativity from Wales? An offload out of the tackle maybe?

Edit. No difference with Paul James on. Been a long time since a Welsh scrum with Adam in it has been bullied like this. Could prove the difference in this close encounter.

Think we have two sides who are frightened to win! Both taking wrong options because there does not seem to be a clear headed leader on the field.......have to say, I still believe Wales the more dangerous when they have the ball and it is maybe their's to lose?

I agree the whole welsh front row is struggling and against second string French props

Halfpenny has made the only significant break for Wales its a shame he couldn't offload to Jamie Roberts inside.

Other than that Wales have struggled in the set piece and its showing..

Does Michalak ever tackle?

I hope Michalak gets dropped and PSA will play actual full-back and Parra from start in next game.
